The ointment or cream is hard to use in your hair, if that's were you have the problem, the Dermovate liquid is easy to use if you have problem in the , scalp otherwise use ointment or cream for all other place's . The Dermovate is hard to find , but it is around if you look , I was in Pattaya only a few weeks ago and bought some , just got to look around in the outer areas of Pattaya , such as the Dark side , it's always been hard to find , because it's a product that works . You are correct about the liquid for the scalp but just to clarify it should be Betnovate or Dermovate you're looking for.
It's called Dermovate scalp application 30 ml liquid , have one in my hand , use it all the time , it's the only thing that will fix my problem, got onto it , on a trip to Korrat , stoped at a chemist and ashed for something to fix the problem I had, bad a the time , in a couple days use, it was gone,, Regards Popa

Dermavate ointment is good for psoriasis
Yes Dermavate will fix the problem, if you can't get the ointment the liquid one is available in Pattaya ,as I have just come back from Pattaya , were I bought and used it while there. The liquid is better for scalp ,as it is easy to scatter around in the hair. Another good one for skin product is Quadriderm both of these can be hard to find, but they are both made in Thailand and if you shop around you will find some. Regards Popa

As I am elderly person , who finds it difficult in doing a visa application on line , I was just wondering if it is possible to do it all and send the lot to the Sydney embassy by post with a prepaid return envelope . I am able to download the application form no problem . So all I have to do is fill out the application form and staple photo on it , add financial statement from bank and enclose all this along with my passport , sending it all by Australia Post to Sydney Embassy , enclosing a return prepaid envelope so they send it all back to me. Any help appreciated thanks. ..................Regards Popa

Unless the policy has changed again (quite possible!)
It has, this thread is about the change - no insurance required for anyone now.
That is not correct , in the other press report that I read on this , they are saying on the head line that insurance is canceled and then if you read further into this report it says you still need the insurance ( REALLY ) , if you are returning to a country that requires PT--PCR test. The only difference in this press report is, they are not stopping you getting on the airline and have stated that they will have random checks and if you should have had insurance ,you will then be made to buy one before they let you in. You don't need health insurance but if we stop you at a random check point and you don't have health insurance then you will be forced to get it.
Am I reading that correctly???
<deleted>!!!!
It doesn't say anything about compelling you to make a purchase, just a friendly, well-intentioned suggestion. ????
Other report articles in the press are different to this report, can't they for once in their life get this right, so that all those traveling to Thailand know what is required. Regards Popa

and in part because people are not willing to pay for the insurance). Does it make sense for Thailand to welcome only the healthy people with insurance or should they welcome everybody?
I am willing to buy insurance , but will be unable to because of the system we have against old people . Do you really think I should be discriminated against because of my age. I am fit and healthy with no health problems at all , Regards Popa

Seriously. If your age and past health are serious enough to be refuses travel insurance, I think you should seriously reconsider your travel options.
I had health problems 12 years ago , with no problems now and seriously do you really think I should be discriminated against , because of my age , as I am fit to travel . One day you are all going to get to my age and have the same problem i have . Regards Popa

Why are you asking?
Anybody not fully vaccinated and without health insurance shouldn't be here.
You speak for yourself mate, you might be at a age that is easy to get insurance, I am not and unfortunately there are a lot more of us that are at a age, or have had past medical problems and will never be able to get travel insurance . I bought a ticket and booked accommodation to Thailand many months ago, when there was no talk of a sudden change in the rules, now we hear the possabilities that travel insurance may be required to enter. That leaves me little chance of getting travel insurance because of my age and past medical health , so I will lose almost all the cost of the air ticket and cost of accommodation I have only just come back from a trip to Thailand in July , August , so at that time all that was required was to be fully vaccinated which I am , therefor was well and truly under the impression things would be okay for me to travel to Thailand. He can apply for a 30 day extension of his 30 day visa exempt entry.
After getting the one extension allowed he would have leave and reenter the country for a new visa exempt entry.
When applying for a 30 day extension on a 30 day visa exempt , would you have to extend your 30 day air ticket before going into immigration for a extension . Regards Popa

And yet the Thai embassy in London says that proof of accommodation is required for a single-entry tourist visa.

Also the Thai embassy in Canberra Australia requires a booked and fully paid accommodation for all your entire stay in Thailand on a single entry tourist visa . Regards Popa

When I try heating pies, they go very dry. Do you spray them with oil?
Nearly every one that buys a air fryer ,has to experiment with their cooking , as there are so many things to get right , such as heat and time settings , also depends what you are cooking, they do better with food that usually needs frying.. I am going to experiment in frying a egg in the air fryer , maybe lay alfoil in the tray with a touch of olive on a low setting , it's a matter of trail and error sometimes , it would be good as when you cook breakfast , cooking a egg in it seems to be a problem , well lets say I have never tried it yet . Have a air fryer for my camper van , it does the the cooking in a refined are with out making a mess , as with camper vans everything is close to you and get's covered in oil while frying in oil , these fryers are sealed and are real easy to clean. Regards Popa .

Yes, how true, yet there are still plenty taking the risk , which is really hard to believe , even with my long love of Thailand and a big urge to return , I would definitely not take that risk, plus even after they drop all there rules of entry , I would still be waiting for the unexpected... Very hard for well over seventy fives like myself , with all their hoops to jump through to get a Visa and with the added risk on arrival of being thrown into quarantine after a long flight at my age is just to much , along with the added cost and a ruined holiday . Also the added problems of getting health/covid insurance at my age and along with all the rest of the <deleted> you have to get ready to get a visa before one leaves ,they seem to think we really need Thailand, when in reality they need us, no thanks , I will go to Bali instead . i was honestly quite shocked when I arrived back in Thailand to see how the place had degraded, I stayed in Phuket and most of the beach villages looked like abandoned shanty towns . Horrific.
Yes a good post. i am very surprised that more people that have travel to Thailand have not mention the sad issues the Thai people are going through , because of the harsh visa entry requirements. Regards Popa
