It continues to amaze me how much freedom people will give up out of fear. So to participate in society you are willing to let governments tell you what vaccines you must have? Where does that end?
Get off your high horse nothing is mandatory,. nobody is telling you anything.

I`m assuming vaccine certificates will be easy to forge, it`s far from a fool proof method. and easy money for someone who can distribute them.
More to the point whoever is administering the vaccines will hardly be handing out certificates to everyone, how will it work?

A nice way of thanking them for starting a global pandemic, there`s gratitude for you.

It baffles me that when/if a vaccine is developed why countries can`t share the `recipe` rather than worrying about how it can be manufactured for the global population. if enough countries come on board surely rolling it out worldwide in a relatively short space of time shouldn`t be a problem.

The airline is going bankrupt and you expect them to choose the right 6,000 people?
Come on.
Well getting rid of people that keep the planes airworthy wouldn`t be the greatest bit of thinking would it?

I`ve got one too, not hopeful, probably lose my money, will just have to wait and see.

Could compromise safety surely if they`ve got nobody to keep the planes in the air. a third of the total staff is a hell of a lot of people.

It does strike me as odd that there are hundreds of new cases daily just down the road in Singapore but Thailand appear to have it under control.
We really need to start living normally again sooner rather than later.

Why would tourists be there anyway?

Firstly I am not a resident of Thailand, just the occasional 2 week millionaire.
Since the outbreak of this virus I have been keeping my fingers firmly on the pulse, I`m due to fly out of Heathrow on Thai on March 22nd but as this whole health crisis as
unfolded there are more and more alarm bells setting off in my head,
Granted there have been no reports of farangs being infected but the news channels are full of scary <deleted> now.
I have a non-refundable ticket but moving it to a later date is an option, but that too comes with quite an hefty fee. because I`m not there it`s interesting to get the views from various forums of what it`s actually like over there now, can I assume that Nana and Pattaya are not exactly ghost towns during this incoming pandemic, and can anyone confirm the aircraft are flying with very few empty seats from London?
If others are taking their chances I will sure as hell join them.
Cheers.

For the disbelievers on here I would point to the fact that in the warmer southern hemisphere countries the infection rates appear to be stabilizing (but why Cambodia only has case is quite frankly untrue)
While in the colder northern hemisphere cases seem to be accelerating. I`m of the belief that the virus cant survive in hot climates, after the initial infection rates in Singapore it`s certainly levelled off there too.
It just a few months till the summer in the north, just a case of trying to survive till the spring.
Well that's my take on it anyway.

It would seem there are lots of people on here with contacts inside the Thai government, are maybe, dare I say it...they are guessing.

Indeed I did, no vaccine no entry, that doesn't make it mandatory, still your choice.
