That place is good, but are you sure that is for dependent visa? They gave me different numbers for that process. (i couldnt do it because i didnt have enough days left on my visa).

Actually I paid 18,000 THB for 90 days.. Not sure where you got that crazy price.

Sounds like you guys are using the wrong agent.. I had a TR visa which i already extended, and was due a visa run. Contacted @thaivisacentre (via line), and they were able to get me a 90 day visa extension. Just dropped my passport off.
She just say she cant do if you get issued 7 day extension (with order to leave). If you have not done this yet, you are still in the money.

I used them since 2018, and they have continued to reduce the price for my retirement visa extensions. Back in 2018 they charged 24,000, and in 2019 I paid 16,000, now they only charge me 14,000. Good place for retirement visa extension! But i never hear about them doing ED, are you sure?

Thai Visa Centre also can accept passport through EMS, so this is a valid option IF he actually needs an agent to support his requirements. If not then he should do what ubonjoe has said in relation to "power of attorney", and have photos or medical documentation to back up the condition if anything were to be questioned.
