Hey Friday, playing any good games lately? Tony's not simple minded, just a victim of young brain, I had the same affliction 10 years ago.

Yeah I guess it gets better with time. And about gaming.. after getting burned with WAR I just plaid some offline stuff (GTA, Oblivion...). I tried AoC but somehow didn't enjoy it. Runes of Magic is fun but the ping s#cked some weeks ago so I gave up on the first evening of trying it.

I might try Champions Online though (comes in June / July) but until then I think I wont play much. I would love to play Crysis Wars and the upcoming Battlefield 1943 online but of course no servers with decent pings are or will be here (bf1943 might have one in TH though). Anyway on my mmo watchlist is Earthrise, SWTOR, Huxley, Jumpgate Evolution, Mortal Online and maybe even Aion. I just hope some of them have oceanic servers or our pings don't s#ck too much.

it is the consensus of most thais (and in fact, most asians) i know that the thai/asian girls that go out with farangs are generally not beautiful at all in the eyes of fellow thais/asians and are usually of a certain social class, which works out just fine for all involved... beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

but just don't go derogating thai/asian guys in general because they might have similarly negative perspectives about farangs! just expressing the views i have heard, not my own!

Most Thais copy fasion trends from Japan and Korea. If you have been to Japan you see trendy and innovative fashion and other places like New York, Paris or Berlin have people with a way more individual and fresh style than here in Thailand. I worked in the fashion industry and unfortunately have to say that the Thai fashion sense is a bit limited / boring. But then again there just seems to be a lack of Thai identity in these sorts of things because Western / Japanese / Korean style is "soooo cool" for most women here.

This is a bit too harsh (besides you generalize as well which is pretty uncool) but I absolutely agree that my current girlfriend is way easier to be with than all the girls I have been with back in Europe. That's not because of money (she makes more than I do, owns a company) but it is because of the way she was raised. She believes in lots of great values because of the Bhuddist philosophy she grew up with.

She is also smart, studied and graduated in London while working on the side in a Thai restaurant as chef to finance this. She built up her company on her own after her studies. She likes to take care of me, the house, the garden and has been a great support for me through several times when I faced some problems.

It does help that she is gorgeous but my girlfriends back home were good looking too (and so were my casual fuc_king friends). Of course its easier to find a 10 here, because according to our western beauty ideal there are just more better looking women. But at the end of the day to become truly happy other things matter so much more and beauty fades with time while a good character and heart stays.

Would I choose a Thai girl again if I would break up with my current girlfriend? Of course! Some basic values here are just so much better than what most western women have. Why should I choose a less caring woman that puts her own interests first if I can be with such a lovely person here who actually enjoys being lead in a relationship.

Western woman, who's body is more developed (as well as her intellectual side) appears somewhat frightening to these men, as they are not sure they can please her so easily, therefore they would prefer Asian woman. this is just my opinion...

There are cases when old and nice farangs who do not drink excessively and shower on a regular basis find nice and caring Thai women who are maybe in their 30s or 40s and both of them enjoy living together for their mutual benefit. I'm happy for them. These cases might be rare I admit but they do exist.

Primitive and bitter alcoholics who look for young girls to satisfy their unmet needs are more common of course.

I can only talk about my Thai girlfriend and she is just the perfect woman. Lovely, kind, cute, beautiful, smart, educated, active, motivated and so much more. We live together since three years and our relationship was great since day one and seems to get even better every day.

To have class has nothing to do with your social background or money. It means to be a good person that is flexible and can deal with various situations.

Here is my story that might help you understand:

I was a dam_n "cool" kid. In fact so "cool" that I got banned from all state schools in my state for drug dealing and other typical acts of youth criminality. Parents even petitioned that I leave one of my last state schools. I was sooo cool (not).

Anyway, my parents sent me to one of the most expensive private schools in our state because this school was the only one who still accepted me under certain rules. So me the little gangster (with a middle class background) was suddenly in a high society world with lots of really rich kids.

It was a nice change and what I learned there is that class has nothing to do with money or your social background. Some of the richest kids who got a Mercedes Coupe as their first car were absolutely modest, didn't show off at all and acted just like normal people. Some were actually ashamed of all their wealth. Others who were not so rich but showed off big time whenever they could because it made them feel important. Another benefit of this school was that we had lots of rich girls who had everything they wanted and were used to a life full of pleasure (and sex). Some of the nastiest sl#ts I ever met were those rich girls (and saying this I really appreciated that).

To sum this up. A classy person doesn't show off. A classy person is natural and real and even while being this a nice person that acts well in all sorts of different situations. That's it.

If you think different go and get some more fake or real polo shirts with a huge logo stitched on it or enjoy the looks of your girlfriend with her fake or real LV bag (both s#cks).

Obviously I wasn't a classy person back then because I was proud being such a "cool" gangster and showed this off pretty often. Today I blame it on the hormones and that I was constantly high during my youth

I second that. True its stupid to have anything to do with drugs in Thailand but the punishment here is just too extreme. Especially for soft drugs such as weed.

If the head got cut off as a result of jumping down it wouldn't have splattered blood up there in my opinion. Anyway I just really hope there are some decent people working on this case and it will be solved soon.
