    (1) The vests & helmets were unnecessary. There was no animosity in the crowd as it is universally understood among the people of Koh Tao that these poor kids are scapegoats. The locals know exactly who committed the crime.

    (2) The two poor Cambodians had to be "walked through" the re-enactment: Shown where to walk, where to point, how to swing the weapon -- because they quite obviously had no understanding of the crime scene.

These two factors are widely discussed in Thai blogs. The people aren't stupid.

I understand they are Burmese. But your observations on the enactment (a re-enactment implies they had done it before) are spot on.

Based on these 2 factors alone, , your saying that the RTL had to coach them on what took place. Puppeteers RTL Puppets 2 Burmese

  2. This case has been a shame/sham since day one, murder scene unprotected by the investigators, no control of evidence, i.e tried to frame friend with pants found at the scene, they were found in his suitcase, now the phone incident friend gave phone to Police day after the murders were committed , now RTP claim it was located at one of the arrested men home. however no such Dept. as Internal Affairs within the RTP, too much corruption easier to pin the crime on someone else rather than do real police work and find the real perf. . it would be easier to believe the RTF only if an independent DNA sample was presented and the findings publicized.

  3. something I don't understand .. If I had killed these 2 people and a whole police team is searching for the killer with DNA tests ..and especially try to frame foreigners, I would not been on that island anymore after 10 days, but try to get home as quickly as possible.

That has already been explained earlier.

It¨'s not easy to get back to Myanmar , almost impossible for them . They lived with their family , one of the guys has a wife with him . He would not leave them behind, and no money , where would he escape to? This island was their home. ...

Your not really making any sense yknow. according to police they had only arrived a couple of weeks ago... hardly a home

It is easy to get back to Myanmar from there once on the mainland, sorry but not leaving people behind when youve done a double murder rape a few hundred yards away is also very unlikely..

Money np for getting enough to travel. Really its not hard to get money you make it sound impossible.

Once off KT its a shortish run to the border along the whole central and north west mountian region and mekong to myanmar its really not hard to avoid any checkpoints.

You dont commit this kind of murder in such a brutal manner and stick around let alone dump a victims phone outside your hut.

According to Koh Tao news, one had been on the Island for 2 years and the other for 3 years

  4. I would say very clearly thats a phone inside a leather 'folio' case.. Looks like an Iphone 4 or 5 to me.

Identical objects, an iPhone 4 or 5?

No thats a glasses case and a phone, you got the wrong photo comparisions, try comparing the phone with the pic of hannahs friend with police, they are the same model and case if not the same phone.

The phone in pic#1 is leaning against the case same same

  5. 1. Why would the village head go to all the trouble of falsifying dates at the university and his sons condo building caught on CCTV

    2. He said himself his son went back to university the morning after.

    3. Why was the son hidden for a week.

    4. Why offer 1,000.00 baht proving his family had nothing to do with it-he didn't offer a 1.000.00 baht reward to find the killers. He'd have been a hero on the island forever a statue built in his honour.

    and on it goes

Better question is why did / were they allowed to refuse to provide DNA samples ? Above the Law Fear ,

  6. It never ceases to amaze me what I read on this forum next will be....

"Aliens have landed and were quickly approached by a mob of angry Thais accusing them of taking their jobs and that their spacecraft is on Thai soil and that they should pay rent now or just leave. Said aliens were admitted to Thai owned hospital and were immediately asked for money when huge shiny rocks resembling the largest diamonds ever seen and advanced technology was proffered but this was rejected by the hospital head who said only Thai money is good and they can go back to their own planet and maybe come back next year"

Back on their own planet they said "We tried to show them how they can move at the speed of light but all they said was that was a farang business and you should go to farang country for that because farangs cannot do that type of technology in Thailand.

You left out taking their Rice too giggle.gif

Situation normal - these locations flood almost every year as they are very low-lying. In comparison to the great flood, Nakorn Sawan was under 2m of water at this time in 2011

Exactly, I know I have a home in Nakhon Sawan, and it was flooded because some one forgot to open the Flood Gates , so Bangkok would not be under water, but then again Bangkok was under water, because some one forgot that that raining season was upon them again, and during the non-raining season did nothing to prevent from happening again, Ping and Nan rivers empty into the Chao Phraya river from the North and that's not counting the various other Rivers that empty into these Rivers from the North. SAME SAME every year.

How long does it take a Monkey to realize , that a Banana is a food source ?????

  8. The Chao Phraya River has the Ping/Nan rivers that empties into it at Nakhon Sawan , not counting the various other rivers that empty into these rivers from the North, every year you see the same news, oh no, Bangkok is going to Flood again, and again the Powers to be have not done anything to prevent this from happening again, not only Bangkok, but all the other Provinces too, 6 months of Rain every year and 6 months for it to happen again.

  9. I have a 1 year non-o multi entry Visa,, without leaving the country, I had to go to the local Ampher with 2 witnesses who live in the same soi I live , and state that I have been living with my thai wife at the Home address, then I received a Yellow Home address Book, paid 1,900 baht at immigration police and received my 60 entry visa , after that I still had to make a border run to Mae Sot to get a 90 day. Funny, after paying for a 1 year multi-entry Visa, still have to pay additional money to stay every 60-90 days

  10. I would like to hear what the US Ambassador has to say about this: He calls her ignorant because she does not allow any of her staff to attend protest being held, that's SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) , don't get involved in other countries issues, don't become part of the problem, and don't pick sides.
