I am looking for information in ragard to severance pay upon completion of a contract.
The only information I can find is for termination without reason. Is there still severance pay if I do not renew my contract and leave the company peacefully (not terminated)?
Is this applicable as an educator in a private school as well?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am having some issues with my current employer and I am debating seeking legal action or just leaving quietly.

Thank you. And sorry I didn't know the formal definition ????. In my previous experience, they had used it in terms of either party "severing" ties with the other. If it was an amicable split, then the employee received a good will package, more or less. This was in another country. My boss (the owner) tried to hide his contempt for that law as much as he could.
Yes, I meant if I decide not to renew my contract.
