That procedure doesn't work outside of Thailand, I've been back in UK for 18 months and have the same problem.

I changed my phone due to a broken screen , installed the app and thai sim and it doesn't work , it's nothing to do with the having the SIM card it's the geo location which won't change as long as you're abroad , forget the vpn as that changes your internet ip location not your geo location for cell signal.

I have to simply draw money from atm, and if I need to send to anybody in Thailand I then have to send it back to Thailand via transferwise.

It's a ball ache to say the least.

32 years ago my first land  wife and i bought had to be in someone elses name ( we used her parents)

 

No longer the case nowadays........ though land offices usually want farang to sign saying the money is hers.     But land easily goes in spouses name now.   So get married and stop living in sin   555 (joking, Yinn)

Are you saying there's no such thing as a bike licence at present ? There 100% is such a thing so no that's not what all this is about.

Spoiled liquor? It lasts for years , even once opened. Lockdown has only been a few weeks .

You are entitled to one full pay cycle of notice. 

If you are paid monthly then it's equivalent of 30 days and as you were let go 5 days into a new paycycle you are entitled to the rest of that paycycle with your 30 days starting at the end of that period. 

So two months would be the legal requirement in this case and that is what they have offered you. 

Had they terminated your employment on the last day of the month then your notice would have started immediately and you would only be entitled to 30 days. 

You didn't say why you were let go,  but of course they do need to have cause to terminate your employment.
