Take also 2 pictures with you (one will be glued on your COR) and the usual photocopies of your passport/stamps

Since I asked a question in this topic, and for anyone that might find this information useful, here's my follow-up from Samut Prakan immigration:
For not loosing time in case my request was not approved I intended to do also a 60 days extension at the same time.
After getting my TM30 (online receipt) stamped (not sure what the reason was) the officer asked me to complete first my extension and then come back to the counter for the COR.
After my extension was processed I gave following documents for my COR :
- Copy of passport data page
- Copy of entry stamp page
- Copy of extension stamp page
- Copy of my Visa
- Copy of the stamped tm30 receipt
There was no need for a tm47.
Didn't need more copies of my wife's bluebook and id (I guessed it was in the system due to the extension?)
Requested 3 certificates for : car licence , bike license and one for Bank just in case.
Only had to hand over one copy of the form and documents and 6 pictures (only had 4 on me, but was invited to bring the 2 missing one's in a week when documents will be ready).
No fees charged.
Everything was pretty quick and all employees were nice and great to deal with.

Wouldn't you need a TM47 hence do a 90 report before being able to apply for the COR ?
Doing research for the past couple of days about how to get à COR as I need to get one for TDL and I was under the impression that i had to wait to do the 90 day report.(i'm in Samut Prakan, in casz anyone shines in with an answer)

Well Thailand is amazing. Low numbers are the norm I guess. I'm often tested at 28.2c at my condo...

I was there yesterday evening as my GF needed a refund for a bus ticket. It was around 7pm and the building was closing. We didn't see any customer.
BUT there was a little "army" of security guys grouped in rows near the road/on the parking. About 50 to 80 of them. No clue what that was all about ????

mine was 34 degrees ... apparently I have hypothermia and on deaths doors
Happens every other day to my girlfriend when they take her temperature while she's sitting in the car. I call her my little zombie now.
More seriously (or not) even if you have fever, inside a car with 21c aircon the IR thermometer will show no fever ????

Really makes me wonder.
All these people here on "Tourist Visas" who don't seem to be making ANY effort to fly home.
Almost as though they were living here and not just visiting. Little wonder they are clamouring for (free) 3 month extensions instead of trying to get home.
After all, there are PLENTY of flights still leaving the country. The ban is on people flying INTO Thailand. Not leaving it.
The Canadian Embassy has been sending out emails noting the different airlines that have flights out (where connections can be made to Canada, i.e. Lufthansa to Frankfurt then to Canada).
As well, other airlines are still arriving and picking up people. They arrive empty and leave with as many as they can carry (that have tickets obviously).
My g/f flew out of Suvarnabhumi this morning on Qatar Air, which apparently has 1 or 2 flights a day out of Thailand. She should already be on her connecting flight from Doha to Berlin as we speak (or type).
Oh right. I forgot. It's not about getting home. It's about scamming the system to stay here longer (for free). And then bitching about how the government is treating them.
Your forget that many save for a year or more to go on holiday. May you be alone or in a family of 4, not everyone has the luxury to spend 800-1000€ a ticket for an extra flight home when their original flight has been canceled. On top of that what what would they do with a voucher which airlines are giving out now if they don't even have money left for groceries and clothing if they have to spend that extra cash? Many wait for a rebooking or got one at a later date.
It seems you're quite quick to bitch about the bitchers. That's kind of narrow minded to put everyone on the same basket. Doesn't make you better. Of course there are many who take it as an extra holiday time, but many not...
Edit : spelling

They are both right. US just tries to manipulate the publics perception. They paid the whole bill... Which was 50% off ????

Thailand Cracks Down on Vapes with Severe Penalties and Public Reporting
in Thailand News
Posted
If you're going to claim there are definite health risks with vaping, then please point them out with evidence. So far, your contribution to this discussion is shallow at best and shows a lack of understanding of the broader picture.
Having lost family members due to tobacco smoking I'm sensible to this topic. I wish vapes would have been invented much earlier.
In my opinion, mentalities like yours are partially responsible for countless tobacco-related deaths. You push people to continue smoking or discourage those trying to quit via harm-reduction alternatives. That’s not moral righteousness—it’s ignorance with a tragic cost.
Facts:
Deaths from cigarettes in Thailand: ~70,000 per year
Deaths from vaping: 0
PM2.5 pollution is far more toxic than properly used regulated e-cigarettes.
E-cigarettes are harm-reduction tools, mainly used as a substitute for combustible tobacco. The government's opposition to vaping is largely driven by economic motives:
- Protecting tobacco farmers
- Compensating for tax losses
- Serving vested interests (tobacco and especially pharmaceutical lobbies)
Being anti-vaping is aligning yourself with big tobacco and big pharma. Whether you realize it or not, you’re serving their agenda.
And as for the usual "protect the children" argument—let’s be clear:
No child should vape or smoke. Period. That’s where enforcement should focus. But punishing adult smokers for switching to safer alternatives is absurd.
Public vaping? Treat it like smoking. Regulate it fairly, not with fear-mongering.
Regulations ? Hell yes, regulate the market and ban questionable products from shady origin with no QC. Why not even ban disposable vapes as those seems to be unnecessary and produce tons of electronic waste.
Heck, even tax it if you want if, that might save you from loosing face and not wanting to be the one who made vaping legal (even though vaping is not illegal, it's just sheningans about the devices, act of buying, importing etc...). Most vapers I guess would not mind from what I've heard.
