I pretty sure I’ve loaded everything right but no auto accept. If I can scan the QR and see everything why can’t TP? Just weird.
Seems it is setup to read the EU vaccine passes but not from other countries.
Everyone else is in queue for human approval which is currently overwhelmed by the 60,000 applications.

I called the Thai Passport consular number and after 10 attempts and 3 different numbers was able to get through to someone.
She said the queue is being processed as fast as possible, but they can't expedite applications because they are too busy with people departing on 6-7 Nov.

Still interested to see if someone with a AQ approved QR code re-applies for test and go and receives instant approval. At least one person here confirmed it to work.

I just gave it a try.
Background:
I fly on the 6th of DECEMBER! So a long time to go.
I'm from Germany, having a stopover in Abu Dhabi. I gave both flight numbers in the flight number section. But I put Germany as my origin of travel.
I uploaded Comirnaty vaccination certificate 1 and 2, and used the QR from 2 for both QR codes.
I DID NOT have a "real" booking confirmation that most of you have from your hotels. I just screenshotted my booking and bill from TUI travels (German documents). This document does also NOT include a RT-PCR test confirmation.
Insurance I had a special document from Ergo, screenshotted that, attached it.
Got my approval instantly, albeit in the Spam folder.
It does seem that if you have a EU vaccine certificate and upload the QR codes that you get instant approval from everyone who has tried it. Have a good trip ????

I did not receive a QR code for my earlier applications when I applied under AQ and received a QR code for that application.
Yes but if you apply for the Test and go again now, you may receive instant approval. Since you are already "Thailand Pass approved" for the AQ. Just a theory. But the other guy has had that happen it seems.

Great yeah please do report back haha My situation got even more weird ???? Like I said I was worried about AQ Thailand pass cos it says right under the code Alternative Quarantine and I have only one day booking at SHA + , so I got the brilliant idea to apply once again and did something different ???? Anyway I got now another QR code and I got it instantly after submitting my application. This new one is actually correct because it says Exemption from Quarantine under the code. What I did differently was, I chose [Exemption from Quarantine - Test and Go] in the first section but later in the form when you fill out your accommodation information I put AQ hotel and not SHA + . This is the only change I made and now I got the right QR code. The only worry at this point is whether having 2 QR codes can present a problem. You can try this method if you feel unsure about going with a Alternative Quarantine QR.
Wait, you applied and received pass for AQ, then re-applied for Test and go and received an instant pass?
Can anyone else confirm that this works? That could mean when you are approved for any Thailand Pass you can re-apply and get instant approval for Test and go.

If you're from one of the eligible countries and are fully vaccinated, you're exempt from quarantine anyway. So it should just be a matter of bring a hard copy as proof of your vaccine certificate when traveling.
Looks like a good solution to get the instant AQ Thailand Pass, if you have no other choice and your flight is imminent.
There are a few people who have missed flights due to lack of Thailand Pass already and lost money because of non-refundable flights and hotels.

Additional point:
When making the application via the ‘Alternate Quarantine’ tab - the QR code links to the vaccine information and states ‘Alternative Quarantine’ (as above - in Orange) - rather than ‘Test & Go’....
Could be a ‘sticking point’ but at least it gets us past check in and into Thailand, other issues can be handled on the other side.
Crucially where are you from? As EU certificates are already getting instant accepted in most cases.
If you're not from EU though then that could be something. If it gets to a day before my flight I'd rather have the AQ pass than none at all.

Okay so everyone here who said they have EU certificate seems to get instant approval, or can use the QR trick.
But has anyone non-EU received their Thailand Pass yet or had instant approval, and if so how?

Having waited for bugs to be ironed out I think I'm ready to go with the application now. Only problem is that my hotel aren't replying to any messages. I booked directly with them and I can pull up my booking on their screen but that's it.
My question is can I take photos of the screen (it shows PCR test and transport included) and upload as a jpeg or do I need a SHA certificate from them?
Thanks for any advice ????You need a booking confirmation from the hotel, they will also give you a confirmation number.

Nope, that was the first time.
I have a friend on the phone right now, i guided threw the steps (space after passport / QR code / alternative hotel.
He screamed over the phone, it worked instant for him too (he had unsuccessfully tried before),
It didn't work for me on a UK NHS vaccine passport. Maybe it does on ones from the EU.

I used an email address that i had already used 4 times already (in the same day).
So i say : Keep trying guys, over and over and over, multiple requests won't <deleted> you over, it still works after and eventually go through for somehow.
Can I ask did you upload the QR codes in .jpg or .png? And you used the 2nd dose QR code for both QR code images? Thanks
-
I think that those who apply and get instant approval were actually already approved. They just didn't get the approval email for whatever reason.
-
Seems if you didn't receive the QR code straight away then you're out of luck.
I've applied 3 times, cropping the QR codes, none of the suggestions in this thread worked. I have little hope of receiving the Thailand Pass before my flight out on the 8th.

If they are going to open up for tourists in September/October, with or without restrictions, is it really worth putting up with hugely expensive and complicated list of requirements just to get there a month earlier?
-
They all (UK, USA etc) need the health certificate from March 21st.
According to the CAAT issued today March 18th.
-
Can anyone read this announcement in thai from CAAT? Seems to concern introduction of medical certificate requirements.
-
The thai airlines don't seem to be requiring this medical certificate for all visitors... yet
-
So when does this requirement come into effect, or is it wrong? People reporting they arrived at Thai airports without needing the medical certificate.
Is there any proper announcement or is it all super vague and contradictory?

Thailand Pass Is Up And Running

I just got my Thailand Pass QR code approval for the Test & Go.
I'm from the UK so have a NHS vaccine certificate. Flight is on 11 Nov.
1st Application (Nov 1) - Used an Outlook email and heard nothing back.
2nd Application (Nov 3) - Used Gmail and received a confirmation but nothing else.
3rd Application (Nov 3) - Used another Gmail but cropped the QR codes, confirmation but nothing else.
4th Application (Nov 4) - Used Gmail and cropped QR codes again, make them clearer. Didn't use the AQ method like some here, was going to wait a bit longer before doing that. Confirmation but nothing else.
Nov 5 - Called Thai consular service and spoke to the staff, gave my application details. Heard nothing else.
5th Application (Nov 6) - Used a totally different email, cropped QR codes again making sure there was enough white space around them. Received confirmation.
Emailed Thai consular email with all my information. Heard nothing.
10 minutes after emailing them, received my QR code for Thailand Pass, to the email used only in my latest 5th application. Nothing heard from the other applications. Hope this helps anyone.
Not sure what did it in the end but quite likely the email to Thai consular support got my application looked at immediately. That or leaving some white space around the QR codes. Good luck to all.
