  1. Why isn't it possible to apply for an ED Visa again after having a NON-B? Never heard about that.
  2. Thank you, DrJack54, KhunBENQ & Lemsta69. You are always an awesome help to this forum. I appreciate your help here on aseannow. Just want to make sure my 74year old mother isn't running into problems with the immigration. I'm so nervous & happy to see them ????
  3. Hello, part of my Family from Germany is visiting me next week in Thailand. They coming on a "Visa Exemption " I try to find what kind of documents they need, I'm sure they have looked it up by themselves already, but I want to make sure they have a smooth entrance and avoid any possible problems. I'm sorry I couldn't find a link to a website which is uptodate or a similar topic. So If someone would have a link it would be a good start. - Do they need to show 20.000,- baht as a family or every person? - Every person must pay 2000,- baht for the Visa Exemption on arrival. - They from Germany so they don't need to show a a covid pass or health insurance. - Every person must have and show the hotel booking confirmation and flight return ticket when they show up at the immigration desk? Or do they need that only once as a family? And did I miss something? Thank you.
  4. It changed by itself. I haven't contact the support or called the bank. It's over 50k . Thought that might be the problem. But Bangkok Bank don't have that limit. So I came over to this post and knew I'm not the only person with that issue. I will give an update when I have it in my Bank Account
  5. It changed from : we will payout your money on Monday 2pm to: We cannot process your payment at the moment.
  6. Hard to say and to accept it, but there isn't any way that life is coming back to "normal". Like we know it before Covid. It's here to stay it and so are the restrictions, rising prices, vaccine or mask mandates, tests and so on. Even if you trying to ignoring it, you can't really, because it effects all of us, friends or family. And this isn't normal.
  7. No problem. Wishing you a safe and joyful journey.
  8. Sure you can. You mean you cannot get another ED Visa inside Thailand after one year of study at a language school.? that's true, because you have to leave the country after one year to apply for a new Ed Visa at the Thai Embassy. You can study any language over 3years or even more. Sure the formal process isn't so easy. If you study Thai language, the Embassy in some countries might test your thai skills before they issue you another visa. Like the one in Laos. The immigration can test you if you doing your 90day report. Isn't the best visa option. But of course you can have more than one ED Visa in your passport.
  9. Congratulations. but hola doesn’t sound like a run. what a mess of bureaucracy. Hope it’s getting easier soon.
  10. Hello, a few month ago a friend of mine said that he couldn’t buy a train ticket at a trainstation in Thailand because he wasn’t vaccinated. Does anyone know if that is still the case ?
