  1. Yes, perhaps; this is part of the reason I am asking here. But regardless, it will be hard to find another one with the same base colour of 'Ducatti/Ferrari Red' ????????????☺????
  2. I am in the Pattaya area. Thanks, for the advice. A new blender would cost about 1800, and the aforementioned top-component assembly that includes everything besides the bottom-motor section costs around 1200. So surely, the replacement of just the single bearing should be much cheaper. That motor has at least 2 more years left in it! Built like a tank, otherwise.
  3. I have a really nice blender, that has lasted for over 2 years now. But unfortunately needs repair. And, therefore, I am requesting anyone that knows anyone that might be able to repair it. Thanks! The bearing has stopped working - for the blade that is built-in to the upper-part, the container assembly. I have seen replacements units that encompass the entire container assembly, including the bearing, etc. But as these cost almost the same price as an entire new unit (both bottom AND top parts), it is hardly worth it! Should i just buy a new unit, or would there be someway to just replace the bearing for the blades?
  4. FYI, I was able to make a successful border run with full-service van service to one of the two aformenti0oned Cambodian border crossings in the south. Aside from one hiccup at the very beginning of the journey with them, it was a fast and easy border run. And this was my very first time using any sort of border-run-van service like this before. This was so much easier and faster than doing it yourself! They picked me up at 5 am, then plus-one more hour to pick everyone else up; then, down to the border - and finally, dropped me off at the same place they picked me up at -- at 3 pm! I am now committing to writing a more in-depth and professional review of this trip for this forum, sometime before the end of this month!
  5. I love those full size buses, much better. But, no, I think they also mini-vans. So, in this case, the one that includes ALL the Cambodian fees sounds like the winner. I am in the process of trying to contact them right now. They go on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
  6. I just looked at their website, wherein they currently list a total cost of 3500 THB, which includes the Cambodian visa fees. Another service provider I have been talking to this week for the same visa run charges only 3200 THB, but that price does NOT include the Cambodian visa, (but they do pick me up at my residence here in Pattaya). So, after incorporating the not-included Cambodian visa fee of 30 USD, the difference is about 22 USD more for this alternative option. Is there something I am not aware of that might make this more expensive option worth the extra cost? And, is it unusual to not include the Cambodian fees on these types of mini-van visa-run services?
  7. Pattaya Sure. I will send you tomorrow, after I call them directly to confirm that what I am understanding is correct. Okay? I have that specific price written in English, and the phone number. And I think this is the same person I was talking to on the person-handling-my-visa's phone about the visa they are processing for her, for me. They wanted me to go tomorrow. But informed them I need at least one day to prepare.
  8. As I have been here in Thailand continually since less than one month before the pandemic shutdown happened in early 2020 (arrived from India), I think that is a lot of stamps, even if no border runs were ever required to get them all (all covid ones). I am planning to use some kind of van service that charges 3200 THB to pick me up at my residence, wait for me to stamp in-and-out, and drive my back to my residence again. And I think I would be back by 5 pm, I think that is what she is telling me. I will confirm tomorrow. They are also somehow connected to the long-term visa i have been in-process of applying for too.
  9. Yes, I think she was trying to tell me THAT. I kept thinking she was telling me Chonburi. So then, I showed her the Ban Laem crossing on google maps, to which she needed to see it in Thai words. And, after looking at it, tentatively said that was it. But now, I see that is more likely the former, Ban Pakard crossing. I will have to call the number she gave me to directly call the agent, tomorrow, to confirm.
  10. I am going to have to do a border run to further process my based-on-retirement non-o visa. (It took longer than expected to get my funds transfers from home country). The lady helping me does not speak English so well, so I don't understand specifically she said. But I think she is telling me that for 3200 THB, a mini-bus can come pick me up at my residence in Pattaya and drop me off at the Cambodian border (somewhere nearTrat), wherein I can: 1) stamp out of Thailand, 2) into Cambodia with Visa on Arrival, 3) stamp back out of Cambodia, 4) get a Thai Visa Exempt to get back into Thailand, and 5) they will drive me back to the same Pattaya location. All in the same day. So I assume it is one of these borders crossings? I showed her the latter of the two "quoted" crossings on google maps, and she said yes that's the one. But she still seemed a little uncertain. It was still a little bit unclear what she was explaining. So, I am just trying to confirm here. It is going to be possible to do this? Stamp out of Thailand, get Cambodia visa, then stamp back in on Thailand Visa Exempt (with passport that is on the official list able to get the Visa Exempts, and years of validity remaining on the passport.), and back to Pattaya on the same day? She seems so sure about it!
  11. I don't have a clue what most of you guys are talking about here. But it all sounds much healthier and cleaner! Do you recommend any specific websites or video channels to learn more about this?
  12. I plan to use an agent. So, I have been pouring through the threads here for the past few previous covid-visa cycles to find a list of good agents to contact. I've already contacted a few of them. And I remember the one on Maneerat came up a lot here. So I will be sure to contact them too, for sure.
  13. Thank you so much for replying. Earlier, just after my original posting of this new thread, someone on here that knows a lot about this kind of stuff reacted with a "LOL" emotion, so I assume he was thinking the same thing. But I wasn't sure, until just now when i read this reply from you. It help a lot to make my day.
  14. I have been living here in Thailand on COVID visas continuously since a month before the shutdown happened. And now that I just received my very last stamp for a covid visa, that will allow me to remain here until the end of next month, I have been planning to apply for a long-term visa that I already know that I qualify for, except for one glaring detail I was not aware of until just now: that being, my passport expired during this time, and due to COVID it took much longer to have it processed and sent back to me, which resulted in a 12 day OVERSTAY fee as well while waiting for it to return. This all happened back in early 2020. I was informed by a very reputable visa agency that because of this overstay, I will not be able to apply for a Non-O Based on Retirement Visa without leaving the country and coming back. And, furthermore, I would not be able to come back to Thailand if I go to through the Cambodian land border - even if I remained there for a few days, if I tried to do this border run by myself. They all agreed that I need to go in a group or they won't let me back in. I asked them about going by myself to Laos to get a Tourist visa there, but they assured me that it would not work if I went by myself.... So, the total charge for a 15 month Visa through them, including the border run to Cambodia will cost 60,000 THB. My question is: Are they correct? P.S.: While I was speaking with them and they were explaining to me that people are having difficulties getting back in that have been on COVID visas, one of their customers was just then texting them to say that they were stuck at the Bangkok airport and could not get back in. The agent tried to call him back right then, but no one answered the phone. So, I do not know the details.
