Open a second savings account, with no atm/debit card, at your bank to hold the bulk of your funds. It is free of charge and can be added to your mobile app. Keep only a smaller balance in your first account that you use for payments.

At Bangkok bank when I went in to get my mastercard debit card unblocked (they blocked cards recently due to fraud), they suggested I open a second savings account (with no atm card) to hold the bulk of my funds. I now use my first account for payments/withdrawals and keep a balance below 150k.. There was no charge. I added the second account to the mobile app so I can make transfers if I needed. Given the risks of fraud etc readers may consider reducing their exposure via this method.

St Josephs is the best school in that area, one of the best in the province. 

I've been here 14 years off & on. Had a non-imm for last 7 without a break. 3 kids n a wife. I would have no problem paying the fees. Just one thing, I'd have to go for some good Thai lessons, apparently I speak like a fisherman !

If the deposits were international transfers i cannot understand why its a problem. If they were local cash deposits i can. Why the hell didnt you just keep 400k on deposit? Would have been wise. Best of luck anyway

Drove onto Chan to Big C today, very light traffic on the roads. I guess the stay at home message is working.

In our area the local administrators have been round to all the small restuarants, noodle shops etc, telling them they can only do delivery and take out service now. 

Despite all the negative <deleted> you see on these forums, it seems to me that locals are taking it very seriously and adhering to the advice.

Dont matter what insurance you have once there are no ICU beds or ventalators left in the country. Look at Italy, first class health care and all free.... still cant help

Exactly, and just about every other country pointed a finger overseas as the first cases were detected. If you want to look for an example, just look at Trump who calls it the China Virus. I wonder how welcome the chinese living in USA feel right now. 

Does not matter what they are looking for. Customs have the right to search any international parcels for whatever reason they wish. Same as any other country.
