Off topic i know, but you have posted a link from Stickman and according to Thaivisa this is not allowed because stickman himself apparently dont want his material published at Thaivisa!?I got this message from moderator Scott Yesterday when i published a link from "readers submissions! Here is the message from global moderator Mr.Scott:

You opened a topic in the Covid forum.  Unfortunately, I have removed it.  We are not allowed to use Stickman as a source.  That was not our decision but one made by him, as I recall.

Hello, i like to let it run for about 20 days from the start of fermentation, also i use an oechsle weight to measure the sugar content before putting in the yeast and nutrition.I like to start when the weight shows about 70 oechsle.I normally use something called "supergjær"and it will tacle proof up to around 16 to 17,not sure 100%.Anyway i let it run for 3 or four days and then i add from 1 to 2 kilos of sugar, all depending on the oechsle reading.(Important to keep the oecsle weigt under 80 when you start, otherwise the yeast have a hard time starting the the fermentation. Also superimportant to keep the celsius under 35 c,because most types of yeast will "die"if the temperature is to high!(I know there are yeasts that can tacle higher temperatures, but here in scandivavia that is not an issue!hehe)But If you are in Thailand this is crucial to know!As i like my wines super dry,i like to get an minus 10 to 15 on the oecshle weigt.it is pretty easy to calculate proof if you measured the sugar content before and after its finished. Also if you shake the balloon or whatever you use a little bit when its fermenting, it will be finished a few days earlier.Me myself however dont like this because it tastes much better if you leave it alone till the fermentation is finished. However after after fermentation is complete it is important(After you put on stabilisers to stop the processess)to shake the balloon several times a day to get rid of CO2 in the wine!

I think if i self monitor for the the few last days, maybe my brew is more than 15% proof!Something is seriously weird in the concotion me thinks!????????

Actually, even though you're trying to be funny, you're actually correct. My wife (Thai) suggested that perhaps we should not wear our gold necklaces anymore because of just this (we don't). Very sad. ????

This advice is been given for many years already,If my memory serves me right its about a decade since my Thai wife warned me about this!?But obviously more important advice than ever now! Stay safe

For alot of people life is unreal, they live in a alternative realm of exsistence dropping in on occasion to spout some nonsense. My kids all live in the US while I am here in CM in many ways they are dead to me because the seperation. We are each doing our on thing seperated by many miles you can worry about this to no end or except it for what it is, life goes on even when you are not there.

Be safe life will be different now, I will defiantly avoid all large gatherings

I thank you for the reply. I think maybe you out of fairly few grasped my point!?Me myself have experienced this "Coronacrisis" they like to call it for over a month now here in Scandinavia. When that is said i have many questions to ask the goverment, but for now i will leave it,(Questions like why is the cure more deadly than the disease-type of questions)II am afraid of AI and i fear this separation of people on an uprecedented level, will make people question their own sanity after a while?Because i think maybe among younger and more internet savvy people lies an knowlegde that everything you hear or watch on internet, may be fake!?Do you have any thoughts about that? Also you have the corporate leaders that like to call a change in the paradigm, and me for sure i  see it as a major gamechanger of the likes we have never seen!?

When all you get is media reports and statistics, and lets be honest they can be easily manipulated. Its hard to know at times whats the truth, what is "real" and what is just someone elses agenda.

Its no wonder there are so many theories and so much  speculation flying around.

True that! But for me i feel a sense of disconnection from the "real" ergo i have strong feelings like "this is totally unreal"?Anyways here is a nice song from Roxette:

Looking from the numbers, Thai's seem to be doing exceedingly better than the Western nations.

Yes i have the same impression too.But i am in my homecountry with my wife and am curious if you or any in the forum are in Udon Now and can tell maybe a little about the situation there now?I have mother and father inlaw there and frankly i worry a little bit about them at present. My wife she seems to take all this in stride (the thai way maybe and not worry(Not to show me anyway)????

  15. Hello and best of days to you all!

I am new to this forum and joined mostly out of interest for my wife`s hometown of Udon and my own Wants to know it all attitude!:-)

I just wonder if things are alright there now and people thai are behaving well in all matters of the word?

Thanks in advance for all answers!

  16. since this is my first post to Thaivisa,i would say hello and i am happy i could join you all,so thanks for being accepted as a new member(Had to go trough some loops with that picture stuff, and i struggled for a bit)Hehe

There seems to me that that when it comes to this virus, its always some new symptom/s?

    Some Have non,others have dry cough/stomach pain/diareha/headache/muscle pain/eye problems/organ failure/severe lung Pneumonia

    All sorts of symptoms?

And i have read several places already that some get infected for the second time even after they supposedly get well?

I have also read that some experts suggests that the virus has laid dormant for a while in the cells and been reactivated?

So there is no new infection from outside but rather the virus never left the body after the person was declared well?

When i read that i got a little scared, because that sounded a lot like a virus we have all heard of before, initial infection and then silence for an unknown period of time?
