As far as I know tourists are not allowed yet. Though I've spoken to someone who have been there business purposes, apparently pharmaceutical.

It's really like that anywhere in the world. If you have the cash you can have access to anything.

I wouldn't be comfortable bringing kids, too. You can't expect to have your eyes at them all the time and you can't expect them to be careful at all times. 

Been hearing spike of cases everywhere, some places in Asia, too. We're in this for a long time I think. Maybe 2 to 3 years more?

Honesty and accountability are rare now. It's highly unlikely to ever see a system with honorable principles. 

Sadly, this is the world we live in now. I think it's going to be this way for a long time until everyone feels safe again.

All along I though the Beach was shot in Phuket? Lol Now, I'm confused. Nevertheless, they're all beautiful beaches. Gotta love Thailand!

The hotel, the Sea View Koh Chang resort on the island of Koh Chang, it looks okay for me though
