So that mean, from the beginning the govt used china test kits, which have a poor accuracy rate (30% probability of detecting the virus compare to normally 80%) and even faulty test kits (spain, uk,...return faulty test kits to China). hmmm. Hope they will test again the 142k people they tested before, because in S. Korea even the recovered patients was tested positive again

They are not even counting asymptomatics as confirmed, even if they get positive RT-PCR results. That's plain old dishonesty. Number of probable cases are not disclosed at all.
That is exactly what china does. we are on the way to become china, dont worry

38 new Covid-19 cases in a day
By The Nation
The number of Covid-19 patients in the country increased to 2,258, with 38 new cases confirmed over a 24-hour period, Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman for the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said today (April 7).
The cases can be divided into three groups:
The first group of 17 had close contact with others previously confirmed as infected.
The second comprised 16 people, three of whom had just returned from abroad, seven (most from Phuket) who worked in crowded areas or close to foreigners, three who visited crowded areas, and three medical staff.
The third group of five are being investigated for the source of infection.
Meanwhile, 31 people have recovered and returned home.
A 54-year-old man without any chronic disease and who had attended some parties in entertainment venues died of respiratory failure yesterday.
Of the 2,258 confirmed cases, 1,408 are under treatment, with 23 in a critical condition, 824 have recovered and been discharged, and 27 people have died.
Globally, there are more than 1.3 million confirmed Covid-19 cases and around 74,000 deaths.

No, probably more to do with running out of tests
Most of test are done in Bangkok, i think half of them so 300 per day or near that number. People from another provinces have to wait ( could be 30 test per day for each of these province) pretty low i mean to keep tracing the infected people

Seems like 51 infected out of 600 test yesterday. (24474 to 25071 (if the number from wordometer is real))
