Yesterday just out of curiosity I was looking for the vaccination center at Central Lat Phrao that was mentioned in the press. Couldn't find any. I thought the location 3rd floor was a typo, so I looked at 5th floor at the BCC venue, closed. I mean something like this must be big. Is it closed already and was just opened for one day as a PR stunt? Or a misreporting mixed up Centara Hotel and Central Plaza? So many questions and everything clear as mud....
[EDIT] I did a google search and found out that those idiots from a certain newspaper that can not be named are obvioulsy not able to distinguish between Central Plaza Shopping Center and Centara Grand Hotel which are close together but two separate buildings. Because the vaccination venue is the Skyhall event room on the 3rd floor of Centara Hotel.
well done to find out
Hope we.ll be ablr to get Pfizer or Moderna
No Sinovac or A.Zeneca
Hopefully they will be offered soon

Thailand has pretty solid form in the area of making it seem like any foreign person who has the virus is bad and it is their fault, while any Thai person who has the virus is innocent and a victim of foreigners. Even if the foreign person catches the virus from a Thai in Thailand, they are still treated as though they did it deliberately and maliciously.
The point will be to reinforce the idea that if migrant workers have it, it is their fault and they are bad. That it is a foreign virus and foreigners are to blame. This kind of racism or xenophobia seems to be a pretty essential part of Thai society, especially dealing with the virus. -

I think they did a great job and all based on science. Unlike in other countries who refuted scientific findings (US, Sweden, etc).
True. And all people DID follow what was necessary. in Europe everyone complains and see what s happening

So .. every 30d from September 26th the immigration offices will be packed and deserted in the meanwhile? Can't they just do the "amnesty" until further notice, with the 30 days at the end when travel normalizes, instead of creating bureaucratic mess.
