So you think that I can get a 60 day extension AFTER the emergency decree ends? (I know you dont know for sure.) That would make the most sense for me since it could possibly give me the longest amount of time depending on how long the decree lasts.

Hey Ubon Joe, whats your take on my best course of action, I know you give excellent advice :"
Hi,
I just saw the update about not needing to go in for an extension and was wondering what was the smartest move in terms of my non-immigrant o multiple entry visa based on marraige. My stamp is April 14th and my year-long visa expires on May 30th 2020. I was planning to go in to immigration this afternoon for a 60 day extension but now I dont know what to do. "

I wonder if we dont get 60 day extensions now, if we can get a 60 day extension on top of the amnesty period whenever it ends. That might be the best situation.

Thanks so much. The one year ext is a smart idea as a backup. How long do you have to show the money in the bank?

This whole things seems to be a cluster---k. Maybe I should just go in to my local office tomorrow, and get the 60 day extension, and that way I can hopefully do a border run, and then further 60 day extension. I just don't want to lose the option of being able to get those extra months, if I use the amnesty extension.

Oh man I hope it cover the non-o.

Again, thanks so much. You guys really saved me a lot of stress and time.

Thanks so much for the super fast help guys I really appreciate it. You literrally could have just saved me from getting the virus. So the answer is do nothing, and just keep my eye on the monthly amnesty extension situation, so that I know when to go in.

Hi,

What's the smartest move? (I ideally would like to stay here as long as possible, until the border is open and can go to laos and get another non o visa, when the conditions improve, and also avoid any crowded and potentially dangerous immigration lines for me and my wife.) THanks so much for the help in advance with all the confusion going on.
