If their country is going tits up, I think there will be a large exodus of people. Tourism" is irrelevant at this point. Once they arrive in Thailand they will be here for the long haul. Time will tell..

Everybody keeps reiterating, no tourists will want to stay 2 weeks in a hotel before they can travel. Do you really think the government does not know that?? Of course they know. It is simply a scapegoat. Sure, there are people with families, and businesses they need to tend to, but people seem to be forgetting that there are millions of chinese that are itching to find a way out of their country. Two weeks quarantine for some of these people is a small price to pay under the guise of a tourist. 

Hi Ubon Joe, is it true that after your non o visa visa based on marriage has expired, you can get a one year extension if you show 40,000 transfer for 2 months? For first time ext.?

Hey, Ubon Joe, maybe you could give some advice on this situation. I was on a non o visa that has expired already. So I left before the expiration date to get another 90 days. Well, as I entered thailand they stamped my passport saying I admitted to stay until April 25th 2021. But, they must have made a mistake it should have been April 25th 2020. I wonder if this same information is in the system? Hmm. Maybe i got lucky? What is your take on this?

Hi Ubon Joe, you have probably answered this already. My non o visa marriage expired in February. I left thailand a couple days before to get an extra three months. My stamp ends on April 24. Do I need to go to immigration to get a 60 day extension or am I okay until july 31? Thanks
