No it's not that he's honest he's very close to Prawit's and so threat to Thaksin's interests!

I think the Thai government must be really desperate for cash to fund their corrupt schemes! The revenue department even turned up at our door asking why my wife wasn't paying tax and summoned her to their offices to explain. They were going from door to door as well.

Some do some don't but at the least in most countries tax residents are treated equally and they pay the same prices without discrimination. Hopefully the price discriminations will stop when we pay taxes.

Oh yea and it cost's a lot more now than it used to because they increased the price of all treatment's for Foreigners!! What next one wonders?

OK cheers that's the problem with Thailand they're always moving the goal posts and why I only rent property now.

Will foreigners be taxed at the same rates as Thai? Wouldn't mind paying income tax if I was given residency status and not just guest status. Will we also be able to pay into the social system and get benefits?
