I have not seen my wife and children for 18 months and plan to come in January I will be disappointed if I have to quarantine, I just hope it is not as bad as when I came back to Australia because I have to earn a living, but I will come anyway because I miss my family though I do not think quarantine will stop omicron just hurt the Thai economy.

The most worrying thing for me at the moment is the government use of tracking apps do you really believe that once you have let them invade your phones with a barcode that this will just be over once covid is if you need to eat it means going to a supermarket so you have to do this and I am not just talking about Thailand all governments and countries are doing this freedom is going to be over after this and now they have the excuse to fool you into accepting it

I think the Thai government are saying they do not trust their own people to act as adults so they are using the emergency powers to treat them like children after all they could not trust the people to elect them democratically but don’t worry I bet all the gov minister’s have a good stock of alcohol after all they are the only adults in thailand

I have always travelled to Thailand with insurance its free with my platinum credit card, when I travelled in January I took out a years policy with AXA then found out it was only valid for a single trip my fault for not reading the small print now after over 100 days in Thailand i have returned to OZ to work and will be going back to Thailand in 2 weeks for a week and then to the UK for 10 days and then back to Thailand for 2 weeks and then back to work in OZ for a week then back to Thailand for a week and then back to work for a week and then back to Thailand for 5 weeks, I was quoted 59000baht today for years health insurance for non immigrant spouse visa, the problem with the Thailand pass health insurance is the minimum cover is for 30 days and it is all single entry, most people go on holiday for 2 weeks there is no option for that and many travellers will want to go for a week in Thailand then go to other Asian countries and maybe go back to Thailand for another week before going home, I do not have a problem paying the insurance but it should be available as a multiple entry and exit policy otherwise it is just a scam.
