I don't think this is a decision per se.

    It is an existing law.

What's changing is US universities switching to online classes. That's the change here.

Lots of Thai students are cancelling this year and not going.

Imagine getting into Harvard, leaving your home and Country for the first time and being stuck in your tiny dorm romm being fobbed off with online lessons. For one, student suicide rates will rise but also - you won't be getting the same experience as students attending class.

Hopefully, the universities will reverse their online decision or shift intakes to Jan.

Absolutely. They just arbitrarily changed their plans to offer only online classes because of a whim? Another person who is in denial of reality. ICE did manage to let foreign students take only online classes in the previous semester. So, no, it's not the law. Unless those foreign students were committing a crime.

Hmm, in 2020, who to vote for? A man with an obnoxious personality or an empty figurehead of a political party that thinks that open borders are a good idea for the prosperity of a country and that hereditary sin should have all white people licking boots, to name a scant few of the hysterias? I know, it's a difficult choice. The lesser of two evils and all that.

The Trump administration has awarded a major border security contract to a California technology start-up that will use artificial intelligence on an unprecedented scale, pairing the president’s giant steel barrier with the kind of “virtual wall” long favored by Democrats to prevent illegal crossings from Mexico.

Thanks, I spoke to the King's Project, they don't have product now (only in Aug).  Are they still in supermarkets, and is the price much different?  Can they be ordered online for shipment domestically?

actually, they had a huge amount in march and they were selling them for a very low price at their outlet. And a couple of weeks ago I bought some at one of the royal project stores. I think it was 20 baht for 250 grams. Tasted just like jalapenos. I pickled them.

Generally an inmate has the right of free speech to the extent that the exercise of that right does not interfere with their fellow inmates' rights.

With Cohen being under home arrest, he would be isolated from prison inmates. He had already been convicted and found guilty previously so there's no potential for trial jury interference as was the case with Roger Stone.

What the federal government might on the other hand be accused of inhumane (by unconstitutional violation of free speech) inhumane treatment by violation of a person's basic dignity considered cruel and unusual punishment for not agreeing to a gag order.

    See further discussion at www.hg.org/legal-articles/do-inmates-have-rights-if-so-what-are-they-31517

This is from the web page you linked to:

    First Amendment Rights

Inmates retain basic First Amendment rights (i.e., free speech and religion) only to the extent that the exercise of those rights do not interfere with their status as inmates. If the prisoner's attempt to exercise their First Amendment rights interfere with the legitimate objectives of the correctional facility, like like order, discipline, and security, they will generally be curtailed. As a result, prison officials can open incoming mail, read e-mails, and screen outgoing communications to ensure that it does not contain any messages that could interfere with the facility's objectives. But, prison officials cannot screen out things they consider merely rude or inflammatory to those outside of the facility.

He should have stayed home house arrest mean house that beeing said I hope they slap his hands and send him home again good luck mike and turn your life around

It's not at all clear that his medical furlough (not house arrest or home confinement) had staying at home as a condition.  That's just been speculation. The Feds didn't lock him up again for that. Why would they be negotiating with him at all if he already was in violation?

how many people here know that vaccine placebo's are not salt water, but another TOXIC vaccine full of chemicals, same as they will use a meningitis vaccine as placebo for the corona vaccine trials...

placebo should mean:  sugar pill or salt water (saline) with chemicals...

hydroxychloroquine should be used with ZINC to prevent (so not when the patient is on a ventilator on his way to DEATH) to prevent the virus from penetrating new cells...

Can you provide a source to back up your statement about using the meningitis vaccine as a placebo?

I'm not very up to speed on European politics, but haven't the UK and Germany both been essentially forced to subsidize the stupidity of other countries, for the sake of the EU as a whole? If true, sounds like a pretty raw deal and reason to bail on the EU to me.

If anything, the opposite is true. The Euro has hugely subsidized the German economy. And on a per capita basis, UK citizens are far from being the biggest net  contributors to EU coffers.

It's not about doctors not being allowed to prescribe it. Doctors are allowed to prescribe just about anything off label (with the exception of controlled substances).  So there's nothing special about a doctor prescribing Hydroxychloroquine off label. It is about the FDA updating its stance and recommending against using it except in a hospital setting or in clinical trials.

    What he said.

LOL, one of the funniest threads I've read.  Libs run amok!  The comments are priceless.  Especially the one above.

Opinions aside nobody can deny hydroxychloroquine has had great beneficial success for a lot of people.  So how to justify all the ridicule towards Trump?  Hatred.  So many sick people in the world.

Rather than link to a bunch of articles I'll provide a host of evidence via a simple search.

Now folks, try arguing with real facts.

    But not science.

  10. Pompeo reportedly hosted dozens of elaborate dinners paid for by American taxpayers — and records showed only 14% of guests were diplomats or foreign officials

    • Secretary of State Mike Pompeo allegedly spent taxpayer money to host multiple dinners with CEOs, media personalities, conservative politicians, and foreign officials, NBC reported.
    • Officials in the department raised concern when these "Madison Dinners" began in 2018 when Pompeo started in his role as Secretary of State.
    • There were allegedly more of these dinners planned through at least October before the coronavirus pandemic emerged.

Which explains why a red wave is crashing over California and Wisconsin? You are aware of this, right? They dems can't even win elections in their own nirvana, this will be sending shock waves through the dem elite as reality sets in. Shame no threads on this and all the major news over the last few days (WSJ story proving Schiff had no proof of Russia collusion, it was all a lie, and the subsequent waste of 3 years probably worth a thread too) .

In Wisconsin, previous Republican won by 22 points. This one won by 14.

  12. I'm looking for avocado leaves. They're an important ingredient in mexican cuisine. The thing is that avocadoes of the Guatemalan cultivars (Persea americana) contain Persin, which is a fungicide that may be toxic to humans. In an experiment goats were fed large quantities of the leaves and suffered accordingly. Leaves of the Mexican cultivars (Persea drymifolia) don't contain persin. I've read that the leaves of the Mexican cultivars have an aniselike odor. Anyone know of a way of getting hold of Mexican avocado leaves?

But survey/photos from NASA say the world is 50% greener than in 1985. Plants love the higher levels of CO2.

After further investigation of the satellite imagery, the researchers found that greening was disproportionately located in China and India. If the greening was primarily a response from climate change and a warming planet, the increased vegetation shouldn't be limited to country borders. In addition, higher latitude regions should become greener faster than lower latitudes as permafrost melts and areas like northern Russia become more habitable.
