Update: I made another attempt to obtain a Certificate of Residence in Pathum Thani, this time including the required fee along with the form. I made some progress as they accepted my submission initially, but after approximately 10 minutes, another staff member approached me with inquiries. They asked whether I had previously obtained a certificate from their office, how I determined the fee, and their tone seemed somewhat suspicious. Eventually, they informed me that they had suspended this service for the past few months. Consequently, I had to travel to Ayuthaya where the process involved a 2-hour wait (which I utilized to enjoy a delightful meal at a local boat noodle shop) and an 800 THB fee.

I contacted immigration in Ayuthaya, and they have no issue with issuing a Certificate of Residence to me. However, they were reluctant to provide the price over the phone. ????

Maybe they we're just กวนตีน, but a little bit bad timing for me these days. At the DMV they told me that they just had some guy with a CoR from that immigration. Wow, that sounds nice. In which city do you have such a great Amphoe?

Even though I did no 90 day reports there? Sounds great.

Thai Visa Centre told me that they provide this service only to foreigners who have Visa from them. ????

Yeah, my embassy told me that I should ask Thai government, that they don't know anything about me. Bangkok immigration won't give it to me also, because I'm not registered there. I'm now thinking about trying to get a Yellow House book.

Hi, was being told at Pathum Thani immigration that they no longer issue Certificate of residence (probably because someone commenting in their Google reviews that it did cost 800 THB). I need it for a driving license. What are my other options please?
