  1. Called to a friend of mine at Thai Customs and Immigration... She said that she THINKS it will be extended, that Thai Immigration has made a recommendation to the government that it be extended... but there is no response or order yet... so need to wait and see either next week or the week after (22nd or the 29th).

She also said that if on a non-o visa, and have not had any other extension currently, that coming to immigration before the 31st and can get a 60 day extension... but to wait to see what the government will do first, that there will be an announcement before the 31st one way or the other. So not to worry... just the waiting game

Not correct, there has been no announcement about the time that people will have to leave once the amnesty finishes. There will be an announcement before July 31st, it could well extend the amnesty.

Silly question, but what is the official website where the announcement will be posted if the amnesty is extended? That way can sort of keep checking to see.

  3. I have a multi entry non-o visa, normally I just cross every 3 months... but since March been on the amnesty. If they do not extend the amnesty, will I be able to cross and come back in? Or will there be some quarantine stuff or complications doing a boarder run? (My multi non-o is valid till November this year).

I would do an extension but do not have anything close to 400,000 baht anymore.   ????   So I am concerned.... don't want to have to leave in 2 weeks and not be able to get back in. Any info on this? Thanks guys

BTW non-o based on Married to Thai for 15 years and have an 11 year old son.... been in Thailand for the last 18 years
