Any dividends paid will be withheld taxed with 10 percent, you don't need to declare anything, if you accept to pay the 10 percent withheld tax.
Thanks for this - this was what I was most concerned about. The rest of the details I'm already aware of.
I am, however, considering using the "position" to gain a work permit (in order to re-enter Thailand assuming COVID doesn't clear up and tourist visas remain difficult to get) which is where I think the minimum salary and subsequent taxes/declarations for a foreigner may come into play. Will need to keep eyes open over the next couple of months to see what my options are...

Wondering what the "requirements" are to invest in a Thai company - I've read (in passing) that as a foreign shareholder that you need to be a director and draw a salary (and thus need to declare/pay taxes etc). Ideally, I'd just be a silent investor (and not actively participate/work in the company), and at most would only draw percentage of profits (if any) as I'd prefer to avoid the headaches of (more) taxes where possible.

I used them for my volunteer visa (conversion from visa exempt to 3-month volunteer), and will most likely be using them again to extend the visa (3 month or 1 year - undecided) further. No complaints at all.
That said, I haven't exited the country as of yet which will be the time when you can really tell if they're legit or not ????

Well I guess the advantages are two fold: you don’t have to show your financial records to Immigration; and you don’t have to show your medical insurance certificate.
Although technically you just did show your financial records indirectly by having THB 500,000 available to spend on "convenience" ????

I got a 30 day extension on my visa exempt entry without embassy letter a couple of days before the first amnesty - obviously it was completely wasted.

I dropped by the Udon immigration a couple of days back with embassy letter in hand, but they essentially refused to give out the 30-day extension. They more or less said to continue trying to leave the country, and if you're still unable to leave then try to request the extension again. I went in assuming that the 30-day embassy extension would likely be difficult to get so early on, but tried my luck since I was heading to immigration on an unrelated matter.
I did however find a local agency who offered a 3-month volunteer visa which I'm looking at as my preferred option at the moment, and will decide on next course of action towards the end of this month. Hopefully others have better luck.

As per the earlier infographics released by Thai immigration, "All types of visa extension will be effective from Sept 27 2020". This is listed under the "Long-term visa holders" section, so I'm assuming that using an embassy letter for an extension at this point (as a TR/TS/VOA/VE) would be a waste of the letter, and only get 30 days which will already be covered by the amnesty extension anyway.
Does anyone read the infographic and/or whatever new information has come out since differently?

Doesn't seem to be any clarity on how the embassy letter (or other extensions) are treated with regards to the active/start date? I recently got an embassy letter in case the amnesty wasn't extended on July 31st - if the additional 30 days starts from September 26th, then it would make sense to immediately head down to immigration to apply for it.
