    These 'guys' walk about wearing blinkers and playing the numbers game .... Q. Those living here, who would recommend a visit to family or friends? My response usual is .. A long way to travel (say from UK) and now more expensive .. The heat here can be extreme ... Not to mention the mosquitos Not as cheap (poor exchange rate) as it used to be ..

    The crazy thing is, I've seen ambulance with light on sitting at the lights with no one in front of them !!!!

    Got one at the airport in June to 15 mins and significant less hassel than going to Immigration .. filling out forms, photocopies, photo etc, non of that at the airport just your passport ..

    Condo .. never. Many prison cell without bars. Location ... Avoid tourist location because they'll drive u crazy .. Noise .. check neighbours and traffic ..untimate, dogs locked up and going crazy. They're everywhere ... Lifts ... implication if not working Stairs .. you're getting older Electric ... Check if standard unit costs Orientation ... Will u 'fry' during the day !!

    My basis would be having an airport that fly's to other locations in addition to BBK ? Or the opposite ..having no airport so no hordes of tourists !

    This is all part of China's expansion and take over plans ...like they are doing in Cambodia !!! Don't need a super fast railway system. A significant upgrade to to 1940s system of narrow gauge, single line system would be welcome.. This new line offers little to Thailand but a lot to China !!!

    Got one at the airport..took about 15 minutes ..need nothing other than your passport .. super simple ..not like the ridiculous local immigration office .. Fill out 2 pages, photo, wife's ID !!!!??

    Came back thru BBK last week ..living here for 12 years. Endless annual visas, re-entry permit and still the 'lady' at passport control is scanning the pages of my passport for what ?? ...then finger print capture, how many copies do they need !!!! Treated like some sort of potential criminal ...

    Crystal ball time again !! British Airways have cancelled any plans to return to BBK ... Travel to BBK over the next 6/8 weeks is significantly more expensive as a result of limited supply, high fuel costs and European high season ... Hardcore Pattaya tourists will find the money !!!!

    Travelled thru 6 weeks back. Was travelling business class so went thru passport control and then they showed me where to go for re-entry permit ... 2 stage process ...get the permit and then nearby you pay ... I paid 1200 but only got a receipt for 1000 !! She then allowed me to go back 'air side' ... Super simple ..no documation/photo required not like the ridiculous requirements set out by my local immigration office.
