China-made diesel locomotives handed over to Thailand
Albert Zweistein replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No they are not electric but diesel electric. Makes no difference because they are polluting like diesel trains so no gain here. You're right about the battery operated trains but in first world countries they use overhead supply lines. -

Unless being a doctor yourself I don't think most of us are able to judge the credibility of these reports. Just have a look at the reports in Thailand, Omicron will be endemic in one report another report is denying this. At least the ministry of health should be credible but it is not. Agree with you about the political leaning, just remember the utter nonsense the previous "president" of the US was spouting and how many followers he had.

I've seen "skilled" Thai working in Singapore, they were shoveling sand. I also remember the "skilled" berry pickers in Scandinavia. If they are so well respected why ain't they working in their own country ? Type of work /contractor is BS, it's the salary that matters,in other words the workers from the surrounding countries are used as slaves. Just remember the way they were treated/locked up in their camps at the beginning of the Covid pandemia. Ever seen how they are being transported jam packed in an open lorry ? Not human and absolutely IMPOSSIBLE in the western world.
