I live in Prasat in Isaan. 5pm Tuesday night i got a call from a doctor telling me to be at the university in Surin, for Pfizer shot at 11am next day. Email sent later to me. I went, 2 hours in total there, and had my 1st shot and 2nd due 16th September. All done very professional, and a lot of farangs from my area there as well having same and we all came from EXPATVAC, so, it works. Just taking time i guess to hit all regions, but, very well looked after all in all

Had my 1st pfizer yesterday in Surin, second 16th September, via EXPATVAC. many there yesterday all from my area and ALL from expatvac, so, site does its job.

Went to the university in Surin, and had my 1st PFIZER jab, next on 16th September. Lots of over 60's expats there getting same, ALL from EXPATVAC, so, it does work. Well done Thailand

Well, i registered with expacvac and heard nothing, until 5pm last night when a doctor from my local hospital called and told me to report at the University in Surin at 11am today for my 1st shot of Pfizer, so, does seem to work, we will see

Happy for all of you who got Pfizer. I would settle for AZ, registered with expatvac. but. like most out in the sticks (Surin Province) heard zero on it yet, and i get the feeling i wont for some bizarre reason. If you dont live in Bangkok, you dont exist. Thats my theory, right or wrong

They closed construction sites!! yes, but heres a fact. 48 hours ago, 2 trucks full of Cambodian construction workers from Bangkok, were dropped on the roadside outside Surin, so, i expect the same is happening all over. Spread the love (covid) (sarcasm)

Hi lovely people.
We NONE of us have a clue as to what will happen, but just to throw another into the pot, a friend went to kap chong immigration yesterday, as on a multiple non O, worried about the situation to be told, 'don't worry!! there will be an extension until end of year.
There you go!! another wonderful immigration officer. ( love him if he is correct), but truth is we wont know till 15th earliest. The government is under extreme pressures from al angles just now so lets hope he takes the easy road and extends again

I have my 60 days extension to use so, then have that to sort another 1 year out. But i agree. Not sensible to rely on Immigration at all. Just letting all know of the laugh such as it is this situation gave me yesterday.
Oh and according to my friend thats exactly how it went down. The immigration man laughed and to,d him 'go home' , then the rest of what i said in the previous post

Good afternoon all.
Just an interesting note. A good friend of mine, in the same position as me, ( a border bouncer) went to Immigration and Kap Cheung, Surin province yesterday as he wanted to know best way to proceed. He was told by the head there, and i quote!! "don't worry!! The government will sort it out so you have no need to worry about visa then" on the 26th
So, it really is a case of who the hell knows, when the head honcho say not to worry. it will all be sorted, and no need to do anything.

Hello. I am new to the forum, and there is so much here, i wanted to ask to clarify my situation. I have a Non O, from Laos, not been across the border since the 90 day expired 26th April. It runs out January.
Am i correct in assuming that, on or before the 26th of September, i can go to immigration and get 60 days, as i have not done this at all since renewing? If so, that will then take me to mid November and either i find a new way for a visa, or an agent, or, the borders may be open (fat chance) .
Thank you for your time
Signs of improving COVID-19 situation in Thailand

Whilst i truly hope these figures are correct i sort of doubt them. I live in a little village in Surin province, and here we have a place set up for covid sufferers, mild infections, so, if others have i doubt all of these way outside of Bangkok are on their 'reporting' radar, so i am guessing it to be a lot higher than these figures. What also worries me, for all Thais in the countryside is this!! I read 3 million are to get 3rd booster shot. Why! when my wifes father here had an appointment for his 1st jab, only for it to be cancelled as they said they have no vaccine locally anymore. Little crazy to be thinking of all that, when so many millions wait for their 1st
