i came in thailand just before my child birth as a tourist , planing to gather all document to apply a support child visa.
now that i have all document i need to get out of the country and back in to apply for my dependent child visa..
but how long will i be away from my family?
letting people apply to any visa without having to leave the country, itwould solve many problem and there would be no need of an amnesty

hi,
al in same situation, having a 9 month old baby. i came in thailand with a tourist visa followed by border run and visit family extension. all these time i gathered all the document needed for a support my dependent child ( judgment from court takes lots of time). i finaly get everything but i cant apply for a non o visa without leaving the country.
i been to CW twice since amnesty (last visit 3 dats ago) they say they cant help me.
My guess is if many people are having same problem they will ease the process.
if i go back home , not sure how long i ll be away from my family.

am in same situation , i need a fresh at least 15 day left visa to apply for non-o children dependant visa. i got all documents needed for visa and 400k in bank waiting since she born 10 month ago... but covid decide otherwise.
now i need to leave my family, go back to France where covid is very high and come back maybe in 3 month if all goes well ( neither country close borders nor i got hit by virus).
