If there is any positive side to this Pandemic it is that it has helped to weed out the many low life's and cheap charlie scumbags that Thailand doesn't need.

Jail time for writing a negative comment, are you serious? Regardless of what you may think of Texans and Americans in general there are two sides to a story and maybe, just maybe there was some element of truth in the customers comments even if he was an **e **le. Have you thought of that?

The customer/offender did not commit a crime and is entitled to post a review or reviews of his opinions and experiences should he so wish. On the other hand, my thinking is that much of this unsavoury carry on could very well have been avoided had the offender/customer behaved in a more dignified and gentlemanly manner. I have never in my life attempted to bring liquor acquired elsewhere into a restaurant/hotel establishment and if I were to do so then I would at least have the etiquette and good manners to request permission to do so and pay the appropriate charges applicable with good will and without any fuss.

Unfortunately, there are no winners here and this applies most especially to the hotel resort's management team as this storm in a tea cup story has now gone into virol overload around the planet. I fear the resulting fallout from this negatively distasteful publicity may potentially and ultimately be a great deal more damaging than a just a handful of bad reviews on TA.

That's a really clever idea, more non productive Public holidays, that should really boost the economy. Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam is an absolute genius, maybe he might consider introducing a very long public holiday for the full duration of October, November, December and January so that Thailand can really get its economy back and track.

I cannot see this working, who in their right mind would want to be a part of a bum deal such as this, unless for those wanting to return for permanent residency, even then its more likely to be thousands rather that the expected pipe dream of millions. It's a non starter.

They are totally delusional, but so was I when I was ten years old, I thought that the Fairy Godmother would come when I left my tooth under my pillow and Santa would come down the chimney at Christmas time.

They think they are going to attract the wealthier tourist, the type who fly business class and stay at Shangri Las, Dusits, Sheridans and Oriental resorts. And the they think that these wealthy visitors have more money than they have intelligence or common sense.

PM Prayut Chan-ocha and his merry band of ministers are in cuckoo dreamland if they think farangs are going to buy the dumb deal that was originally proposed. 2 million visitors ? ???? In their dreams.
