  1. In reality probably be higher, officially will probably be lower. Just my opinion.
  2. From the article, “If 100,000 tourists come every day like before Covid-19, how could the public health officers and medical staff perform RT-PCR tests on all of them upon arrival when we have never been able to before?” A very valid concern I think as they struggle to perform half that number on their own population. Even if ATK was employed, think of the queues and waiting time at the airport. It's a very difficult task to balance. Maybe COE will still be required, therefore controlling the number entering the country. I think TAT's predictions of tourist number would overwhelm any systems put in place. Even in the UK there was problems with the PCR testing system for travellers.
  3. I think even if they do open it'll be SHA hotels on return, sealed routes and still the 7 day restrictions on provincial travel and covid tests. I'm waiting to return but want to go straight to GF place and stay. If you say your open your open. With restrictions etc it's not really "open for tourism". They need to stop with the BS and say it how it is in my opinion.
  4. And UK counting reported ATK results I believe. 6763 people in hospital in UK versus 43299 in Thailand. https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare
  5. Don't think they'll ever achieve the testing bit, haven't really managed it over the past.
  6. I'd go with that, same as one of the Oxford professors stated. He said herd immunity not possible, should be talking about herd protection.
  7. Personally been fully vaccinated if I get covid I have done all I can to prevent it affecting me badly. I'd be more worried about getting dragged off to an isolation centre or hospital if I was asymptomatic or only mild illness.
