What consular? Early last year I had questions about my visa, I sent off a e-mail to the Thai embassy in LA and they answered back in about 2 days.
Washington Embassy. I messaged them on Facebook, seen but no response. I'm guessing there's not much they can do for me to speed up the process.

15th workday, no update.

Last year I got visa approved in nine or ten days, including off days. And given that it's almost 15 workdays now and I haven't heard back, it seems like I'll never hear back from them. Is this timeline the norm now? I know their website says 15 business days. Just want reassurance.

Applying for non-O in USA and not hearing back from the embassy. Preparing for worst-case scenario where the visa gets rejected due to paperwork right before flying.

What is that proof? I'm in Thailand, and my spouse is applying for a visa from the US. Is my bank statement showing at least 20,000 baht acceptable? Do I need to show anything else? Thanks.

Declaration form says, "I shall download and use application(s) and/or be subject to the use of tracking systems as designated by the Thai authorities..." Can anyone confirm if tracking app needs to be downloaded onto phone before entering Thailand or does foreigner have the option to opt for the alternative tracking system instead, which I understand to be signing name and phone number at places? And if app is the only option, does it need to stay on your phone for the duration of your stay in Thailand?

After applying for CoE and sending in visa app, after the fact, received a surprise email asking to upload a bank statement. Anyone know if there are any other documents the embassy will ask for to complete CoE and Visa apps that are not listed on website? Want to be prepared because time is sensitive.

OP, wake up! How can you seriously ask if a negative test from a home testing kit will be accepted??
I'm not sure if you're aware that the test will be self-administered and shipped to a lab where they will do PCR testing on the sample.

Trying to get to Thailand. Does anybody if authorities at the airport or wherever will accept a negative result from home testing kit? It will be an RT-PCR test done at the lab. I reached out to the Thai Embassy in Washington, DC, and have not gotten a response.

visa exemption scheme, 10,000 baht or 20,000 baht
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I thought one of the requirements for entering on visa exemption was to have 10,000 baht equivalent, but I saw on the Washington, D.C., embassy website that you need 20,000 baht. So is it 10,000 or 20,000?
Also, do they check for proof of accommodation?
