That has not been the case on several occasions, of which I am aware

The death in that article that you linked to was a result of the battery lodging in the girls oesophagus!      That's what the article was about, whether you were made yourself aware of it or not.

Do not buy Huawei, recently purchased mate pad t 8 inch. EMUI 10 now bars anything Google, due apparently to the fight between USA and Huawei.

I have spent hours installing a second boot system best one so far is VMOS PRO.

I've got a Hauwei P20 with Emui 10, everything Google is accessible.

My passport renewal was smooth but I made sure  I knew what  all the requirements were before hand. My countersigner gave me a signed colour photocopy of his passport page which helped a lot.

It didn't "help a lot", it is a requirement.  Without it you wouldn't have qualified for the new passport.

    "The countersignatory must:

have known you personally for at least 2 years (for example, a friend, neighbour or colleague, and not someone who is related to you or only knows you professionally) be a professional person (please see occupations for countersignatories on page

14)hold a British, Irish, EU, US or Commonwealth passport which has not run out

send us a colour photocopy of their passport details page"

Seeing as my son's passport application was received in Liverpool by HMPO on 4 September, but I only received the email to collect it from VFS yesterday (there was an "issue"), I have had great pleasure in completing their questionnaire!

How long did they promise you it would take?

    From gov.uk website...

"It is taking longer than usual to process applications because of coronavirus (COVID-19)".

More concern is the swallowing in small lithium batteries from toys and things. Burns the esophagus, causing death pretty quickly  . Parents also leave packets of them in reach of kids.

"...small lithium batteries ... causing death pretty quickly"

Not likely to happen with the small batteries, it's the larger ones that cause problems and then only when they get stuck in the oesophagus.  Those that don't get stuck usually pass through harmlessly.

They should start a petition to get the ban lifted.

It would be signed several hundred times by members of TVF.

By that I mean each member would sign it several hundred times ????

As if the government would ever take any notice of a small group of foreigners who do nothing but mock and disparage Thais, Thailand and everything Thai!

Its prohibited for farang to drive these vehicles, so for farang to get a thai drivers lisence for them wouldnt make logic. Or a work permit to drive them.

"Its prohibited for farang to drive these vehicles"

I'm not sure, you may be correct, but where did you get that information from?

In the context of this thread there is a distinction between obtaining a commercial vehicle licence and driving them as an occupation.

You mean Premchai is still in jail I very much doubt it knowing the system here ! but as a noone and capturing monitors he could face up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to Bt1 million and don't get caught collecting mushrooms in a National Park you end up in the big house also Oh by the way selling dead monitors in the market must be quite ok let's say they were roadkill and same goes for bush meat dam vehicles !

Premchais's on bail appealing his sentence to the Supreme Court. When he appealed at the Appeal Court his sentence was increased.

"Up to B1m fine/10 years imprisonment is the maximum, not a mandatory punishment,  the water monitor abuser could get just a B100 fine.

No one has been imprisoned for collecting mushrooms, members of illegal logging gangs can go to jail, though.

He later started to walk over to bar girls talking to them really close. Of course they were not wearing masks.

I think there will be a rising infection rate in Thailand in the lead up to Christmas.

Customers have been doing that in bars with girls for the last three months since the re-opening and there's been no indication of any rising death rates.

No, you can't, they are not permitted either.

OK so lets say a lot lesser sentence if any !

Let's not say that, let's say what actually happened, eh?

Premchai got a 2 year 4 month prison sentence and a multi-million baht fine for the panther episode.

The Chinese tourist got a six-month suspended sentence, deportation and a B15,000 fine.

How much was the Thai with the water monitor pillion-rider fined/jailed for?
