I went to Bang Sue on Friday and received AstraZenica-1 vaccine as I am 75+ or born in 1946. My information is +60's have to register. However, if you have full documentation for your hypertension why not give it a go. For me it was easy, quick, efficient and very professionally done. You'll get to stage 3 before passport etc. Is required a Thai to assist with language would be a great help, I would give you a 50/50 chance and it only takes 30 mins to get to document stage with BP & medical history prior. Good luck

As an over 75 went to Bang Sue station yesterday from Pattaya, arrived Gate 1 contacted a volunteer who showed me to a seated area in the station concourse where I had my BP checked then onto further 3 catchment areas 1 fill form for medical history which was in Thai, no problem an interpreter was on hand, next info put on database, next inoculation, finally 30 minute recovery. Left station 1 1/2 hours after arrival. An appointment form for next inoculation was issued at stage 4.
Documents I provided Passport and Thai driving license
Vaccine was AstraZeneca-1
From massive apprehension to delight in ninety mins. As good as any service offered by NHS UK for similar procedure, free too!
Thank you Thailand and all people involved.

Due to a serious family illness I may need to get back to UK sooner than I expected.
I am on a retirement visa which has 4 months to run, the nature of the illness means I have to stay there until "The End!" so my stay is going to be undetermined.
Question is can I change from retirement to marriage visa whilst the former is still current (I have all requirements for a marriage visa) thus allowing me a full years grace with only a re-entry visa to get stamped in my passport.

Just a heads up and I'm guessing I wont be first to complain. I'm getting calls from people who seem to have accessed my number from one of the "booking in sheets" at various shops, stores and coffee houses I've visited. Bound to happen but still a nuisance late in the evening.

On the question of vaccine being sourced through a private provider. Is it not the vaccine manufacturers who will only sell to Governments in case of the repercussions should there be any serious side effects, this would stop private individuals from suing the manufacturer?

Ref being just short of 75th birthday. I did +75 at Bang Sue, my birthday Oct I was logged as 74 at data station no problem arose from that. The criteria seems, at the moment, born 1946.
