  1. Hi, I entered Thailand with a SETV through Lao and looking to extend 30 days. I haven't done an extension on a tourist visa or visa exempt for a couple years. New rules might say i can't do the extension due to land border crossing. Is this true or do experiences vary depending on where, when and which immigration official you get? Thank you
  2. Hi, trying to get a general idea of how long it typically takes to go through the process of getting a Tourist Visa in Savannakhet. After submitting e-application it'll take approx 5 business days to get a response? Once you pay the fee at consulate it'll take approx 1 business day to receive the e-visa? Do you pay fee during morning and/or afternoon hours? Thanks for the help
  3. Sweet, thank you
  4. Hi, little confused. Anyone know what Thai Lion Air's 123 Service (2C2P) customer number is when doing a transfer? I only have the payment code (ref. 1). Thanks
  5. Hi, is there a reliable website to book the direct bus from Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya? Thank you
  6. You'll be fine .... but there's a decent chance they'll question you for a bit and bring over a supervisor. Just have your flight out of the country printed along with accommodation booking or letter of invitation with id card. If a supervisor approaches to chat, s/he will likely tell you to get an appropriate visa next time. Don't get flustered, answer questions confidently and listen to the spiel. Despite what other members have said in the past, a SETV would of been a better plan for entry. That said, it obviously isn't an option now and you should get your 60 day stamp anyway.
  7. Thanks for the replies. FYI, I entered Thailand 3 times between Nov. 2024 and May 2025 (1 TV and 2 VE). Of the 3 entries, I was asked to show proof of hotel booking twice ... HKT & DMK. I haven't used the TDAC yet.
  8. They usually ask me due to my yearly trips and I give them a letter of invitation from a friend to stay at their house. I'm now thinking hotel booking might be an easier way through without further questions.
  9. Hi, when entering visa exempt, immigration sometimes asks for hotel booking(s). What duration of stay are they typically hoping to see? The entire period of stay? First few days? First week or two? Thanks
  10. You're a superstar. Thank you. I'll pass the message on.
  11. Hi again Sheryl. Friend is post-menopause but is concerned that taking Oestrogel & Utrogestan will start her periods again .... as a doctor told her. I don't think that's the case. From what i've read she might experience some spotting etc. while her body adjusts but she won't experience extreme changes. Correct?
  12. Many thanks. The low test results were regarding hormone levels. She's regularly going to a govt hospital for the thyroid issue .... although i doubt it's an endocrinologist. She's planning to find both Oestrogel and Utrogestan.
  13. Many thanks, Sheryl. I know very little on the subject and trying to help someone who knows even less. She's already on meds for hyperthyroidism and will test her hormone levels soon. They were tested a few years ago and were low. I assume the best way is to bring the hormone results to a doctor and ask them what to take? Or can you get away with sorting it out yourself?
  14. Hi Sheryl. BHRT for women.
  15. Any idea what the monthly cost is for BHRT in Thailand and where to buy? Is it available at larger pharmacies or do you typically have to order/purchase through a hospital? Thank you
