Have you seen the Blue Book ?
Outstanding finance using the car as collateral ?
Haven't seen the blue book (is that what us Brits would call the V5/reg' doc'?), but there's almost certainly outstanding finance.
What's the procedure here?

As I have suggested before and can recommend... Thomson Garage in Bangna. They have an exMB mechanic there. Genuine MB parts at below dealer price. Service at below dealer price.
I recommended this garage to ctxa and he was very pleased. Don’t take your MB to a ‘run of the mill garage’.
I wrote to them regarding servicing the notoriously tricky W140, and Eddie wrote back promptly with some excellent answers to my questions. If I do pull the trigger and buy one, I'll definitely take it there.

I've seen a nearly new car for a silly low price. My wife has spoken to them and they claim the car is fine, they just need money quickly.
How might it be a scam? Apart from a registration document and a bill of sale, what else do I need to make sure it's legit?
It's advertised online, with 7 good photos, and plenty of detail in the description, so it doesn't appear to be dodgy...
Cheers.

My S.I.L drives a D-Max, as do I sometimes, and though it's starting to feel a bit long in tooth, with 300k on it, it does still work just fine. I'm leaning towards Isuzu after everyone's comments.

Nice to see petty bickering and point scoring is alive and well!
For looks, I like the new Navara, in a colour that Porsche would label 'crayon.'

It's a unique proposition, and a memorable experience. Fair play to her.
Once I get out of this prison/hotel, I'll head over for the first time since 2012!

Hello, fine people. As usual, apologies if this thread is lurking elsewhere.
What would you plump for, and why? I used to vaguely covet a Ranger 3.2, but it seems like that isn't available new anymore.

"Just the covid19 negative certificate and the fit to fly document needed to complete the process."
hahahaaaa. yeah, that damn certificate is proving hard to get hold of, as it seems the bundled one you get when you get tested won't be good enough...

This place seems to be reasonable:

Any age limit? My 4 year old will be flying with us. She can use her Thai passport.

Yeah, I look at ILR as paying £2k+ for the right to struggle in a rain-soaked land.
We gave it a good go, but Covid has destroyed our chances. I can do what I do online, so it's a no-brainer to move back there.
A further question: do we all need a Covid test? I know I need one, but does my Thai wife, and Thai 4 year old too??

Many thanks, all.

Hello people.
I'm married to a Thai, and we have a 4 year old with dual passports. We've been in the UK for 4 years, but have decided to move back to Buriram. I'm 44, therefore the Non-Imm' O isn't available, so now I'm wondering what visa I should go for.
When I lived in BKK I always had a Non-Imm' B with a WP, but I don't plan on working for anyone over there this time around. The financial side shouldn't be a problem (proof, statements, etc).
Any help would be appreciated.
