Get rid of all the mandates including wearing masks or Thailand will never recover economically. Just look to the countries that have removed mandates, their covid numbers and their economic numbers and there you will find the answers.

The last thing that makes sense is wearing a mask while riding a motorbike but i got shaken down by the you know who for a few thousand baht for having my mask under my chin a few weeks ago. I suggest that having one on while riding a motorbike is the MOST important place to wear a mask now . There are no roadblocks and fines on sidewalks

If only there was some official group that could hand out fines for terrible driving,speeding , driving too close etc...what do they call those fellas again??? You get my point, until there are 1000-5000 baht daily fines handed out nothing will change. It would be a massive source of income for these same lads i cannot remember what they are supposed to do again...what is it...enforce laws or something....IDK never really seem any one enforce laws around here. So the bodies pile up. More than covid and i dont make light of it very very sad. Hope they can find some official group to enforce traffic laws one day.

Spot on comment. I smoked weed for decades and now will never tough it again but use CBD for pain or sleep, wonderful stuff and no high. I can say if the Thais wanted to make up for some lost revenue due to covid a move to Pot Tourism and in general legalize it and allow medicinal use would be a boon for the economy. O happen to know some world class experts on the subject that could get an industry up and running here in no time if they took care of quality control issues that the illegal market overlooks but still keep the price point realistic, Win win for everybody and its not like Yaba you can quit quite easily with no long term damage. Booze and speed kill.

No one in a virology lab uses paper masks mate, they dont work for particles that small they just pass through at a rate too high to be useful. You are aware there ae closed loop masks with external air source used with viruses right? As well as silicone full face [best for average person] and silicone face masks with a huge variety of filter sizes available for said masks. Then you would know the % difference between the different masks and face shapes and beards as well as the massive difference between a silicone mask and a paper mask. You do know the difference right in %? Paper masks are for keeping material INSIDE the mask. You dont want your surgeons spit in your wound. Paper masks are not for keeping small particles from outside the mask out of your airways unless we are talking about a micron size many times bigger than a virus. But you do know this dont you? Your just taking the <deleted> at this point i assume because after two years i hope you can understand micron size and use of proper mask based on that micron size. Or i have to assume you cannot be bothered to read up on it. Grab a pesticide applicators course book and have a read mate it covers the basics you will want to know if you ever spray some trees as well. Its very basic information i assure you.
