Maybe you want to educate yourself about what happened 2013/2014 in Thailand so you don't have to rely on your complete uninformed drivel:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–2014_Thai_political_crisis

oh thanks....another interesting subject :you can reed wikipedia 50% according with my point , enough for me ...when I reed : "red shirts also opposed the amnesty"...for Thaksin ...555...only spidermike can write that ! , they dont speak that the dead people were 31 in the pacific protesters and 1 in the red shirts (strange ???) and so many important facts like accountings of protestors deputies blocked by governement and many  struggles that were acts of revenge , not acts of authority from governement. I was 3 times in the street with all the hospital that I work , I saw when helicopters put big lights in Ramkhamheng university to scare students, when police close this university. At 2 in the morning , the royal guard , came to deliver theese students (5000).... No wikipedia is not the Bible !

  2. during 8 months a dozen of countries thought that they could stay safe . Their governments were not quick to order vaccines.

The thai medical world is not unanimous with efficiency  and side effects in a long time about ARNm vaccines. In congresses, they are a little more than 50% to think :wait and see in other countries . Maybe a wise advice in this period where the situation is coming to be under control without any injected dose ?!?!

    how can you write that?

but let people make their own quarantine at home : ????, unbelievable ! last year, the thai government did it with thai unlegal workers coming back from south Korea : they immediatly made parties with family and visit everywhere..

Most riders here make 300 baht or so a day.

not in Bangkok, minimum is 400. And basic workers drive motorcycles to die quickly on the road or come by ten in pick-up  ...

Only officers, good salaries take BTS .

right : it will be another disobedience from the rich farmers in the north and february-april, Chiang mai will become the most pollued city in the world. The government cannot arrest all sugarcane farmers !!!

All they need to do is ban the processing of burnt sugar cane and fine the factories

Right: there is a decree from 3 years ago : that year there were maybe 5% less fires !

do you know how farmers are stubborn? even you show them a new system very interesting : they look at you , smile (a lot) , nod their heads , say: kop kun khrap ...and come back to their old process. In this case , it's so easy to put a little matches and the field is "clean" in 4-5hours.

The governors in north are opposite to government , so , they dont want to press their electorate to obey to this decree...summary of the story: too much freedom in this country and too many checks and balances

The only time I see one, is if they are sitting next to an air conditioned kiosk on the highway, with the cop inside either playing with his phone, or killing time, or beside the road at the scene of an accident. Otherwise, they do not patrol! So, how are they going to issue tickets?

it's not true. Where are you living?

Many crossroads of  major roads (yowarat, raminthra...) in Bkk have a police control.

highways to go out have points to control vehicles : usually vans, trucks for transported products , licenses of burmese drivers..and some car drivers . After 23h; in Bkk and outside for alcool.

But I partially agree that police dont do 100% his job : why? because they don't want to be totally under control of a government who fight with their little traffics . So they do the minimum...

I think that this new decision will not be following by police (10-20% to show some results..) .

For environement ,the best is the wonderfull train station Bangsue which willl open in september or november (hua lompong  will close). The biggest trainstation in southeast asiatic . Why?

because finally the money for this monumental project: Bangsue trainstation+ doubling the railway line that millions of thai people were waiting since 30 years  comes to the good place: pay all companies for make a 2nd line from BKK to hat yai + bridges to cross this new double lines : congratulations to the governement and more than 600 companies ...it's not finish but we can see how advanced it is. All previous government : project was frozen ,money desappears ...now train fom 1920 will go to scrap !

Thanks, I know nothing about American politics, but I have never heard or read of anyone saying anything good about Trump, and as for Thailands unelected "PM" there has only been the odd deluded poster here who objects to anything negative about him.

1american on 2 willtell you good things about him .... for me , I dont likr this man, I just look results: Obama had peace nobel price and put America in 3 wars in middle east ????. Trump administration stopped it , I suppose american are happy. Since 40 years all american presidents try to sign accords between Israle and arabic countries : he did ! , unemployment fell 2% before covid .....many facts ....even if I dont like his personnality.

Mr Prayut never smile and speek long time in the TV , he comes from a coup .....but now he is elected with 8.4 millions votes and other parties who believe in him, manage well covid since 1 year (fact). Now polls are very high for him because majority of people  dont want chaos in this country .Even majority who start to manifest for "some" change in the laws  coz they dont agree violence that the last hundreds people for "democracy" (disorder= some are the same in 2014) use.

we dont have reports about side effects from UK,USA,Germany,India,Russia,China...???? countries wher laboratories manufacture vaccines

...and so many thousands allergies...do you know what is an allergy?

many kinds of your defenses (specific lymphocytes) are moved to create an iflammatin and destroy the invader. (this RNAm)

after 1-2-5 years...how will be the local and organ situation? no laboratory tested it, of course, no time...

The people who died were already terminally ill and really frail. Those people should not have been vaccinated.

we know that they were il but not terminally . This vaccine is given primarily over 75s. The way in all country .

No, the reallity is that we never use vaccine with RNAm who come in your cell to prevent virus from attaching . But usually for a new technical , we need 8-10 years to calculate all side effect , test on animals ...we dont do it : direct inject to human being...

...and  you hear about immediate side effect...but what about effects in1-2-5 years ? (this RNA will stay all your life)

we dont have reports about side effects from UK,USA,Germany,India,Russia,China...???? countries wher laboratories manufacture vaccines....in this part , I join what Possum said about capitalism.

I till say Rob, not even some profit, no one anywhere in the world should be making any profit

    from this pandemic.

right but in medical area with ethical limit.

And all of us are not agree with this kind of vaccine.

That's why I agree when governements take time to generalize vaccination.

yesterday we read that with pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in Norway 13 people died  and 10 severe cases  for people up to 80years old...(33000 people vaccinated !!!)

So now it's a personal choice before a money choice

The incompetence of the officials responsible for the vaccination program leaves me breathless.  Ten months was not enough time to pull a sensible, effective plan together? June for the AZ vaccine and the near useless Sinovac not even approved yet(in Thailand).  They knew months ago that they would need more vaccine as they are only getting enough for 13 million people this year.  June, you have got to be kidding me, even Mexico has started their vaccination program.  Sinovac only 50% effective, why sign up to buy this when other better options are available ....

which competence do you have? when scientists knows that we need 8-10 years tests for theese kind of new vaccines?

So what if the Government say that you must have a vaccination to get your visa?  what you do then?

because I am sure this will happen when the vaccine is avaiable to buy in private hospitals.

but for now, I agree, I would not take the vaccine either.

for now medicine  authorities speak about that so we are going to decide 2 ways : 1/vaccine = free entrance , 2/ no vaccine = quarantine 14 days ...but problem with some vaccine : we have not enough perspective . So we dont know if  politics will follow scientific council
