  1. almost there . "door rain deflector" yielding better results. wish something like that was metal, in my experience if you don't screw something in place it is just temporary soluton
  2. might do both. that rubber thingy for geckos and something with arch to redirect rain from above
  3. Yes indeed i was hoping i don't have to import such thing from across the world.
  4. when it rains sideways water comes inside the house. there is huge gap above the door to compensate for opening mechanism arm. i remember installer telling me he will come back because he is missing some piece but he never did. (contact lost)) there must be something that looks right and functions right like black L-shaped piece of aluminium but for love of God i am looking on shopee and nothing looks right. only clue is hardware on the door is "D&W" brand
  5. true, i think its too much headache now reading about it. about border bounce... is it critical to do it at expiration time of current visa ? what if i did it earlier? are they going to force me to buy reentry on current visa? i know its annoying -asking too many questions . its just too many "unknowns" at once to choose independent search. Every response much appreciated. Thanks
  6. how does this process work? you go to embassy in capital or there is Thai immigration at the border? apply visa same way as in my local immigration? and get 90 days "visa" to pickup proper visa at my local immigration later?
  7. well i am learning that visa run not the same as border bounce anyway trip to border was mentioned. Local immigration might be playing chess and offer convenient $$ solution later. the 400K at the day of renewal of non O has to rest on account for 2 months. problem is i had it below 400k and by the time of renewal it would only be like 40 days old... so yeah big problem
  8. sorry... i am from phetchabun city in Phetchabun. Well, Kaen Thao Border Crossing(Laos) looks good? unless we plan something more than just border run. assuming not every border crossing is good?
  9. the closest one from phetchabun i guess? idk the science of border crossings, does it need to have official checkpoint?
  10. that's very helpful DrJack54 thanks , one more question about border bounce . Do i need to pay reentry permit on my current visa or do i skip it and this way i get visa exempt?? or does my visa has to be already expired when i am in Laos? any border office can grant visa exempt? i am only 2 hours from Laos border
  11. when my wife called them they didn't give me that option maybe because i used up that 60 day extension to marinate money first time i came here (married in thailand)
  12. already did that when i first came to thailand and apparently is not an option anymore?! Phetchabun immigration
  13. it happened. i transferred 400k 20 days too late because i misread expiration date of marry visa. By the time i apply money will not have marinated for whole 2 months. Local immigration say i have to use agency or do visa run. Really? there must be a better way. Any recommendation? can i do this with agency online? what would be the cost? pls help
  14. UPDATE: finally bought and installed Eastron sdm-230 meter (the one without CT) tested for the whole billing cycle and here are results: before Eastron : ~ 20% mismatch with PEA meter ( underestimate consumption- bill higher that deye numbers would suggest) after Eastron : 2-3% underestimate PEA meter so i would say accuracy improved by 10 fold. meter from PEA likely is slightly biased towards overcharging than losing money for utilities so it is acceptable. meter itself is not very useful to look but at least data collected from inverter either to deye cloud or home assistant is reliable and could be useful for correct calculation and statistics.
