im currently not in thailand . so I guess would put in 400k first and then go over , wait for 2 mths after I will apply for the 90 days , and then subsqently for 12 mths . did i get it right ?

i'd like to know in this scenario , if I wont be renewing the extension of stay for 1 year [ non imm O ] and i go back to my country for example 6 months or longer , whats the procedure to get an extension when I'm back in thailand ? I also forgot , can i actually get the Visa approval (not extension of stay} in Thailand or do I need to get it from my country embassy? do i still need the minimum 400k for 3 mths , go thru the officer interview etc ? thank you in advance

I have an extension stay till next year around june / july . however my passport will be expiring soon . I am travelling out of thailand and then coming back a month later with my new passport . in this case ,what happens to my extension of stay ? what should i do in this scenario ?
