Hey everyone, me and the missus are planning a short trip to Pattaya for a few days. We live in Korat and up here you would never know that the "mask mandate" had been lifted with (I'd estimate) 98% or more of people still voluntarily wearing them. Plus, hotel bookings here still require proof of vaccination or a negative ATK test upon check in. I'm just wondering what to expect in Pattaya? Are things any nearer "old normal" in Pattaya? . Have just seen the post about the influx of Indian tourists. Are they congregated in any particular area of town? Are things generally still pretty quiet or back to "pre pandemic" hustle and bustle?? Cheers for any info!

Hi everyone, anybody in the Korat area recently had a PCR test (for travel back to UK) done? Any recommendations for a test centre / hospital, preferably in town??

Hi everyone, I use AIS as my mobile provider here in Thailand. I get endless, unsolicited text messages supossedly from AIS. Obviously, I have no idea what they are because it's always in Thai but my wife simply says; "Delete. Don't open. No good". All very well and good but judging by the way my phone credit gets used up I'm guessing that I am also paying for these spam texts. I am certain that quite recently there was another post about similar issues but despite several searches I cannot find it. Question, I remember one of the replies to the previous poster included a number that could be used to opt out of receiving such nuisance texts. Does anybody know if that is the case - or have I finally gone senile!!! (I already know the answer to that one, thank you). Thanks - Allan
