I tried to get my first COVID extension- I was surprised when they wanted me to come back in 15 days while it was "under consideration." Since I was going to be relocating to a different city to get it done. I have some questions about it.
When they say "come back in 15 days" does that mean 15 days exactly (assuming that immigration is open on that date?) Or does it mean some kind of window? e.g. Come back anytime within 7-15 days?
Do all regions have this same "come back after 15 days" rule? Any suggestion of which immigration office is the "best" (easiest, fastest) to get Covid extension in either Bangkok or Pattaya?

stopover then you are coming from BKK but if you just transit in BKK then you are coming from Phuket
Every flight HKT -> BKK -> CNX makes you self-transfer - i.e. re-check your luggage etc... so does that mean it's literally impossible to fly from Phuket to Chiang Mai without technically "coming from" Bangkok?

If you fly from Phuket to Chiang Mai, but need to stop over in BKK (Because there are no direct flights) does that count as "coming from" Chiang Mai, or from Bangkok, i.e. a dark red zone?
Or is it a moot point due to the lack of any enforcement?

I've read threads about STV and the like, spent a long time researching it, but there's still a few things which are really confusing to me.
-
TM47 / TM30: None of the official pages about STV or its extension mentioned anything about needing something specific as far as TM47 or TM30 but everone on here seems to say you need it, is that true?
- If so... what exactly do you need to do? Do you just ask your landlord / hotel to fill it out for you and give it to you, so you can bring it to immigration?
- Does it matter when the TM30 gets filled out, relative to when you get your extension? And/or does it matter what your rental period was at the place that'd doing the TM30 for you was at the time?
- Do you still need coverage for the health insurance and/or the special COVID insurance you had to get when you applied for STV originally? Or does this vary by immigration office?
- Do you need to show them a booking of where you'll be staying for the entire 90 days after your extension? Or does this vary by immigration office?
-
Is there a limit to how early you can fill out your extension and "extra 90 day" paperwork?
- Will you lose days by filling them out early?
- Among BKK, Pattaya and Chiang Mai immigration offices, is there a particular immigration office that has a reputation for being "less BS" than the others, no random extra requirements that aren't nationally required etc?

"Under Consideration" - what to expect, exactly?

So... Pattaya Immigration was a nightmare, arrived at 8:30 AM and left at 3:30 PM... and when I returned to pick up my passport, I saw I had the "under consideration" and it asked me to come back in 21 days on February 11. I'll be in Bangkok, but I guess I need to plan a little excursion back to Pattaya.
