There are 50 districts in Bangkok. Every district office issues Thai ID cards.

 

Just to let you know that it can be very difficult to get an answer if you telephone. You will probably be better going to the office in person

Current district I'm living in is Bang Rak. I know it would be difficult to get an answer if I telephone but I want to have it just in case.

To address foreigners one of the best options would probably be through Facebook groups, there are a variety of them, let's say you are in Bangkok, then just search for something like "bangkok expats".

Can someone please explain to me how taxes are done in Thailand? My dad once mentioned to me that in Thailand if I have income under a certain amount taxes would not be deducted from it, but then again my dad has lived here for almost 30 years and has worked in Thailand as a doctor so I'm not entirely if that's still how it works (like what my dad mentioned to me) now in Thailand.

Sure, these people who would need such help have staff like maid and pool guy, but here is your advantage: You can be trusted. This is the big problem many of the older farangs have in thailand - they have no one they can trust with important stuff. I'm going to turn 16 next month and I'm thinking about getting a job so that I can contribute to my family's finance and not be too dependent on my parents. I've been searching around the internet about jobs for teenagers in Thailand (for pretty much the whole year) but have not been very successful at it. Does anyone know where to find/apply for jobs in Thailand at 16 years old and what type of jobs would be best for a 16 year old in Thailand. English speaking jobs preferred but I can speak Thai with a bit of a difficult and only a beginner when it comes to reading and writing Thai (I am half Thai but my education has been more involved in English).
