I see it as a stupid sport where people are put in a luxury position to beat an animal, same as bull fighting in Europe. Now the animal had the upper hand and this is a problem? Ha, as I said good job fishie

Today a small airplane in Houaphanh province (northeast Laos) crashed. More news is expected soon. Some photos are available, if I can figure out where to put then.
Reason to put this message here is that Lao government never lets bad news out of the country

get ready for major demonstrations, perhaps even violent ones, 5000 bt is a major insult and the rich will suffer the consequences for this, the govt of Thailand will never learn

everyone should go to the river ,fill up and take home a bucket of water and flush it down their toilet ......
555555 ladies and gents, the next Ploppie!!! LOL

Fondly thinking back when Dr Ploppie was the DG of the Royal Forest Department, what a funny man......the year after he became DG he announced that forest cover in Thailand increased because of his actions, actually he was true.....he "just changed the definition of forest" in which trees larger than 2 m suddenly were counted and thus increased the amount of forest from one year to the other There are some great leaders in Thailand with some very innovative ideas, keep them coming ... perhaps he should use his wealth as richest Minister of the Govt instead to assist the country

An NGO working in Laos discussed this with the Dutch Ambassador in BKK today and their information is that this rules only aplies to 'visa shoppers'. It seems that it only aplies for people who renew their visa exactly after one month by leaving the country and re-entering the next day. You can only do this once (stay of two months). When you use your visa just for a few days and that after a while enter again, it's expected to be no problem.

This is a compliation from comments made by foreigners working in Laos:
Assuming that previous lists of nationalities have nothing to do with the new rules? The same goes for Singaporians, Lao, Europeans, etc...
Maybe foreigners working in Laos can be excluded from the rules based on that we have valid working permits in Laos - meaning no intention to play around with Thai rules
All shoppers from Laos and places to shop at will be affected - Tesco Lotus in Udon Thani and Nongkhai will lose major incomes.

Great. Still, do we need a booked ticket and visit the office? I tried to arrange for a QR code/e-vaccine passport and skipped the Booking Date box, but seem you have to fill it in
