I had to go to the land office in Chonburi and before entering the building you had to walk through a disinfectant tunnel that misted you with disinfectant to prevent the spread of Covid. You were also then greeted with a person who took your temperature and had you apply disinfectant to your hands. However once inside the office was stacked with waiting room chairs, shoulder to shoulder. So the government tells business owners such as bars, restaurants, hair dressers etc they either can't be open of it they are people have to be spread apart, but in their own waiting rooms it is ok to have people sitting literally right next to each other.
All these things are just for doing without any particular use. Just like writing down the names and mobile numbers at the book of a shop or restaurant. Who will check or bother to check its accuracy ? Inside a restaurant, even family members say 4 were told not to sit in the same table, why ? They are from the same household and sit down together to eat at home. This is ok and legal. Why they have to sit separately when they together at a restaurant ? "Lack of common sense disease" catched from whom ?
Covid self tests / Covid auto tests available now in Thailand ? If not, are they available in your homecountry ? how much please ?

An effective test cannot be done easily at home as it needs verification by a lab. Even our famous Thai doctor "ABC" was seen in National News that he went to a specific hospital for taking this test. One thing I really don't understand is that why Pattaya City Hall never sees it necessary to carry out this important test compulsorily on or about 1 Jan 2021 when Pattaya was basically lock down and if so, the truth of no infection or very low number of infection would have helped Pattaya a lot in persuading the Thai Government to relax most if not all restrictions on the operation of many businesses like massage shops, beer bars, agogo and other entertainment venues. If the number of infections is known to be , swift actions should be taken to monitor the health condition of those infected with Covid-19. There is no harm at all for carrying this test effectively. Lack of fund or man power should never be a problem to Pattaya. My business has been set up more than 16 years in Pattaya. I am really disappointed about all these things happening here.
