Oh come on, that must be the camera angle that just makes it look like it’s crowded. There were only 18 people really there ????

Not sure if everyone realizes that “staying” at a Sha+ Plus hotel only means the tourist (or returnee) just has to show up once per day and sign in using a QR code. They don’t have to actually stay there- therefore they could be staying at a friends house or their own house or on the beach. They just have to pay the hotel for 14 days. Basically this is a financial arrangement to support the local hotels, but has nothing to do with COVID protection for the island.. I’m not saying that isn’t a good thing for thenPhuket economy, just that. It does nothing to lower infection risk spread.

Hi - I live in Thailand with a work permit and 1 year visa. I have medical insurance from Cigna that covers COVID but pay monthly.
I have to return to US for a few weeks and applied in advance online for my COE, enclosing the Cigna policy and my ID card. The embassy just temporarily rejected my COE saying I need to show the period of insurance that covers my stay in Thailand.
So if I have to buy one of those separate COvid policies does this mean that I need to buy an entire year's worth which is very expensive.
Appreciate any thoughts -

Thank you for your replies. Yes, it is a long complicated way to bring my dog back, but he will be traveling in cabin with me so few alternatives. I did find out that another COE is needed.

Hi, I have a one year work permit with multiple re-entry permission. I need to go, back to US from Phuket to Seattle to pick up my dog to bring back to Phuket. I was planning on just spending a week in the US. Do I still need an embassy issued COE to return? One week is not enough time to get a COE from a Thai embassy in US - they want 15 business days. Thanks so much

Thank you

Hi, I have a 1 year visa and work permit.
If I want to change jobs, what are the procedures and timing?
Thanks

Hi - can you share the names of the agencies - do they also do visas to US for Thai citizens? The US Embassy told us they weren't even scheduling new interviews till November! Thanks
