Foreign Tourists Injured in Six-Vehicle Crash in Phetchaburi
These U-turns are a terrible idea. Firstly, vehicles have to cross the fast lane from a standing start to get to the slow lane. Secondly, vehicles in both directions use the same U-turn so nobody can see clearly if other vehicles are coming. At the very least the authorities should make these U-turns only available in one direction.

PayPal question
Is there a way to receive a payment from a customer in the US via PayPal if I don’t have a PayPal account my self? I used to have a Thai PayPal account but they closed it a few years ago and I don’t have an address outside Thailand. I did look at Payoneer but they will only allow me to receive payments from businesses and professionals, not from private individuals. I also looked at eBay which accepts payment via PayPal from US customers but eBay charges 15% commission which is excessive. I have a Wise $ account but I can’t see a way for customers to use PayPal. Any suggestions? TIA

Thai Tax Laws for Expats: the Practical Implications versus the Realities
There already exists a document called a Tax Clearance Certificate which foreigners who are liable for tax are required to submit at the airport when they leave Thailand. This provides evidence that there are no outstanding tax liabilities. Immigration could ask for this as an additional supporting document when applying for visa extensions. Not saying they will. https://www.rd.go.th/english/23518.html

Best way to ventilate a hot room?
I’ve built a stand alone guest room & it gets very hot. It’s not too much of a problem on sunny days as it has sliding glass doors which when left open during the day ventilate the room pretty well. However, now we’re coming into the rainy season leaving the doors open isn’t an option so I need an alternative form of ventilation. If I was to simply put in some ventilation grilles in the ceiling & in the walls between the ceiling & roof would this make much difference? Would it be better to install electric extractor fans in the ceiling and/or a solar-powered roof ventilator? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
