We were in Thailand for 3 1/2 months and went through the 2 week quarantine.

We are now coming back to stay for a long time and the current requirements is that you have to stay 1 night in a SHA + hotel that offers the covid test and once your test result comes back you are free to go anywhere.  The problem is my wife wants to bring her cat and I am having trouble finding a hotel that provides the covid test as well as allows pets.

We live in Hua Hin but I assume we will have to do the 1 night ASQ SHA + hotel in Bangkok.

If anyone knows of a hotel that fits our requirements I would appreciate your input.

The government has not made the opening of Phuket official yet.  It is contingent upon 70% of the Phuket population being vaccinated.  Maybe it is July 1st, maybe it is September 1st?  

My wife and I would go to Phuket in July.  However, according to the Thai Consulate in Los Angeles the government has not made it official so we are told we would still have to book the ASQ hotel.

As of Friday the Los Angeles Thai consulate informed me that they do not have an official word yet that Phuket will be open without quarantine on July 1st if you have had your covid shots.  So I was informed that at this time I would still need to book an ASQ hotel.  It appears the government is not ready to make it official.

I received my non O spouse visa.  It will expire in August.

Does anyone know what documents I will need to present in order to get the 1 year visa?

Also can you advise where the immigration office is in Hua Hin?

I checked with the Thai consulate yesterday and they replied that I would still have to quarantine even if my flight goes direct from Singapore to Phuket.

I checked with a hotel in Phuket and they said I would have to quarantine.  So, even though its been published that there will be no quarantine in Phuket after July 1st it seems the government has not informed the hotels or the overseas embassies and consulates.

Does anyone know if you arrive to Bangkok on an international flight, go through customs, pick up your luggage, can you then check in for a domestic flight to Phuket?  We have both had our Covid vaccine shots and have booked an ASQ hotel in Bangkok.  However, I would rather go to Phuket and avoid the ASQ hotel if possible.

Is there such a thing as a reentry  permit.  I have now applied for a Non O spouse visa with a single entry.  We decided to do the 7 day quarantine as we both have had our covid vaccines, (Moderna 2 shots).

In the event that I would need to leave Thailand due to a family situation, and then return in a month or two, is it possible to get a reentry permit so I do not need to apply for a Visa a second time?

All you need is ur 2 shots and a smart phone with the Thai channa app on it to track ur movements

If I travel from the USA to Phuket in July, as there is no quarantine, does anyone know if after 1 to 2 weeks you can leave Phuket to visit other parts of Thailand?
