I stayed there for 3 nights last week. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the beach, 2 minutes to nightlife, two 7/11s and a nice Irish pub less than 30 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is very dated, kind eerie, but it's still a half decent hotel. I paid 1200baht per night on Agoda, 2,500 is wayyyyy too much! I just stayed a couple of nights at the Old Inn on Soi Sampan, around £15 a night and pretty decent. The bars and restaurants were pretty lively too, nothing compared to Pattaya or Bangkok, but then again the more chilled out vibe was a nice change. The drinks and food are cheap as chips and even the weather was fresher, can't complain one bit!

Can anyone recommend a half decent and honest estate agent in Bangkok please? So far all the agents I have interacted with have been kind of useless and constantly trying to push higher priced condos onto me, which I'm not interested in! Or alternatively, is there a website (such as Mr Room Finder - but I don't think that exists anymore) that deals with private individuals who want to rent out their condo without the use of an agent? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I have no idea what the best network is at our location in Bangkok. Perhaps you guys have more knowledge about that? That DTAC deal looks ideal for my son, and the WPN sims look like great value for money adults great recommendations! Generally speaking would you say it's just as good to order a sim online via Lazada or similar as opposed to going into a bricks and mortar True shop for example?

Can anyone recommend any 12 month sim deals starting next week for when we arrive back in Thailand. I will need one for myself, my wife and son. Thanks in advance!

We are looking for a British or IB international school for my son, he's mixed British/Filipino to enter into Year 7. Ideally we want it to be located in the Lower Sukhumvit area - On Nut towards Bang Na area. So far, I'm aware of St Andrews and Wells International but there are another accredited schools that might fit the bill?
