Its the silliness of such comments that makes any anti-vax argument so weak...  Seriously... “Vaccine fan-boys”?

.... That’s your shot?....   You’ve just face-planted into the intellectual gutter with a phrase so moronic it makes flat-earthers look insightful. This isn’t some Apple vs Samsung or PlayStation vs Xbox pis$ing match....

Even the madder more bonkers corners of the anti-vax swamp have more rhetorical self-respect than to coin something this cretinous. You’ve embarrassed yourself so thoroughly its pitiful and catastrophically dim.

Well… vaccines have saved more lives than your entire bloodline could ruin in ten lifetimes. So while you’re hurling playground-level fluctardery like it’s some divine revelation, just remember – you'll have vaccines to thank that most are around to make that observation...

And wouldn’t it be fascinating to give the anti-vaxxers their own little utopia? All the resources they claim to need – except vaccines. Let them live freely, generation after generation, and see what happens. Maybe they’re right, and virus-borne diseases were just a Big Pharma bedtime story. Or maybe nature will remind them, in full technicolour horror, what happens when you swap science for the smug ignorance of idiocy.

LOL. I'm not "anti-vax", I took all vaccines before this crap with diapers on face. And never had a second thought before that, however every doctor would say that you shouldn't take vaccine when there are no serious reasons for that.

Yo and you've just proved my point btw 🤣 E.g. I used plaster a million times, I don't give a damn if someone say it's BS and scam 🙃

When I first got here, I had a nice condo on the 27th floor. I loved the view, how quiet it was and the lack of bugs, but I like watching the foot-traffic in front of the shophouse.

    where is it? thx

Amidst this surge, Dr. Thira advises the public to take precautions, such as wearing masks in crowded environments like public transport, shopping malls, and markets. He also stresses avoiding close interactions with people showing respiratory symptoms, like coughing or sneezing.

As the virus continues its spread, Dr. Thira anticipates that infections will persist for a few more months before eventually declining. The community is urged to remain vigilant to curb this escalating health challenge.

Oh yeah 💯 this guy knows what he's talking about 👍

Wearing 🤡 masks works, they mark themselves so you wouldn't spend your time on them! Thanks for your precautions 555

Well, in the U.S. over 1 million died before they stopped keeping statistics. Granted, that was three years ago, and we don't know how many Covid has killed since then. There's also Long Covid, of course, and I don't know if that's a problem in Thailand, but assume it is. I'm 87 years old, so I take it pretty seriously. I also get a flu shot every year.

You are 87 sir, that's another story. I would also pay att to even crazy stories about illnesses at this age 👍

I hope you aren't a believer in this BS and u don't follow their rituals hurting your health by literally limiting air supply to your brain and body thought 🙃

Hi everyone, I've just seen this online but all the stories I found are currently a bit light on details, e.g. cost.  Looks on initial view similar to the Thai DTV.

If this takes off how many of the Thai-based expats will start heading to Vietnam?

Depends on the terms. TH also has 10 y. visa

I have had no problem making money-transfers into Thailand, over the past twenty-years including 2024 & 2025, without a TIN.  So I would disagree with your final line.

have been pressed by my bank in Jersey, C.I. for a Thai T.I.N., over the past several years, they previously accepted my prior-statements that I didn't need one, or need to make a Thai tax-return annually, due to always making transfers out of prior-year income.  Obviously that situation has now changed.

I therefore visited my local tax-office in San-Sai, Chiang-Mai a couple of months ago, and requested a T.I.N. to give to my overseas-bank, they did manage to issue me with one (and I'm on retirement-extensions to a non-O visa, like yourself) which I've now sent to my bank.  The TRD accepted my explanation, that I needed a T.I.N. to give to my overseas-bank, so they could in-future pass CRS-information to the TRD every year.

My transfers-in for 2024 being just-below the B500k point, above which I'd be liable to pay a small-amount of tax here, I still have not felt the need to make a tax-return to the TRD  ...  until the situation changes again.  But it has all gone rather-quiet, thankfully.

So the answer to your first-question is 'Yes'.  Hope this helps !

KYC etc requirements and stuff like that always 💯 will take more time from abroad

Vietnam is getting a lot of hype now, 40% cheaper than Thailand, easy immigration rules, no problem with border runs or "staying too much", friendly and helpful locals, no fake smiles like in Thailand when they only want your money. Tourists are flocking to Vietnam and can't stop raving about how much they like it. So the question is: why are YOU still in Thailand, and not in Vietnam?

    ... because I'm not a fu👑 tourist 🤔😆

You don't wear a mask all the time .

If masks don't work , why to surgeons wear them while operating ?

I wear better masks than them.

    5 years futher , and I haven't had covid .

Or maybe that 1 week I had the flu.

    No covids shots either.

No sticks up my nose or pcr tests , but they don't prove anything.

Of course Fauci was against masking , covid had to spread,

so that he could roll out the shots.

Really 😂 you didn't know that surgeon can get a splash of blood in his face? 🙃 That's why people wear masks LOL not against viruses 555

And other surprise - if you weren't doing this, you would also be healthier. And no covid as well.. that's why we laugh at such ppl, not because we are sick and they aren't  🤣😂😆

I recently purchased a GPX DZ3, it is a "Locally" produced scooter around the same size as a normal 150 cc Scooter, however it has a 300CC engine.

The engine is a SYM, Taiwanese, common in quite a few other bikes such as certain   lambreta models.

I am a big guy, 6'3" 110 kgs, and this little scoot is certainly nippy enough for me. It is easy to park and seemingly good quality.

The price for the Sports model was just under 100K.

It has upgraded rear shocks and can handle myself and any afterhours accessory i decide to cart around.

This model may be worth consideration.

Then you also have the new ZONTES scooters similar to forza and a new X-ADV style bike.

Realistically, it all comes down to your budget and preference of bike.

My "Touring" bike is a Multistrada 1200S

New GPX bikes look cool AF 😃

How do you feel about DZ3 a couple of months after getting one?

Obviously the difference in BKK vs Pattaya for dating is Pattaya is *paid dating "

BKK would be "real " ?

There's not much of "GF material" in Pattaya, and some who could qualify consider every male living there a pervert 😂

I know all single male expats go to live in Pattaya

But can you do it in Bangkok

Is it more lonely for a single male than Pattaya ?

Who lives here in Bangkok.... alone?

I lived in BKK alone and with family, and I must say it's not the worst place for a single male for sure 🤣

Pattaya is fine, it's much much cheaper and there's a sea. The only thing that could be a problem for a single male after a while is that dating there is ... 🥶🥶🥶 unlike BKK

The last day for Foodpanda is 23 May.  I use either Foodpanda or Grab every day.  Sucks that the most English/foreigner friendly one is closing.  I hope Grab can up their game.

Foodpanda was problematic when an error happened and they got rid of human help a while ago, but it usually worked just fine.

Not sure I've ever user any of these,I use Grab market to get stuff from supermarkets without parking there LOL
