Really can't see why anyone would want to own and live in a concrete box, 70 ft up in the air, sandwich between 10's of others. Staying in a hotel for a few days is enough for me.
Now, a £1,000,000 executive 3 bed pad overlooking the beach my be a little different. but I doubt many of us are in that bracket
I had never lived in a flat till I came to Thailand and both condos I've stayed in have had neighbors above rearranging the furniture on a nightly basis. Being able to buy a property with a small amount of land would be a dream for me.

I can see it's been revoked but incase anyone wants to know I got the bus yesterday, nobody wanted to see my pass and travelling back today there was no issue entering Chonburi (not that I thought there would be).

Went to get a pass at Pattaya City Hall with my gf this morning. Relatively painless apart from both forms being only in Thai so wasn't able to complete myself. Was not asked for proof of reason or anything, just asked to see my passport and it was approved.

We have all seen the horrific scenes from hospitals in India, Brazil, Italy and the UK to name a few.
Now I have no idea why in general south east asia seems to have been less affected. Maybe the virus does not like chili ????.
I've never seen anything concrete but there may be some form of pre-existing immunity amongst the populations in South-East Asia. Less susceptibility within the population coupled with other non-pharmaceutical interventions and gained immunity from infection mean that there's not enough candidates for a real overwhelming spread to happen.

European countries are stopping with Astra Zenica.. The Netherlands in a few weeks and Denmark stopped already because of the side effects.. So Why in Thailand only 2 vaccines tat are unreliable or not working?? Sinovac and AZ... Money talks apparrantly and maybe the unused doses from Europe will be sent here...I will wait till Pfizer, Moderna or Sputnik V will be available
AZ is around $3 per dose. Pfizer is around $30 per dose. All dependant on whatever deal is made by the gov and manufacturers but that's what the UK gov is paying.

You attempt to "disillusion" me failed based on science, fact, and evidence.
"May still carry" means there is a small probability. Vaccines may not reduce infection by 100.0%, but they do greatly reduce infection and spread. See Israel's reduced infection results and the rapid declines of spread in UK and the US.
I'd counter that by pointing to Chile, a country that has the 3rd quickest rollout of vaccines has not that the same effect as the Israel and the UK so it's not an absolute that vaccines have driven down the spread in these countries. Remember that Covid was declining this time of year last year in the Northern Hemisphere as things were moving towards summer.

Most informed people would take either as they greatly reduce the risk of DEATH
Hmm, the apparent low efficacy of the first dose from the likes of Chile that have mostly used Sinovac would make me reluctant to take it. I'm however, in an age group where Covid is not a huge risk to myself so I'd rather wait for a better vaccine candidate.

Anecdotally of course, but all the locals I've spoken to here say they wouldn't take the AZ vaccine but have no opinion on the Sinovac vaccine. It's funny, most foreigners I have spoken to have the opposite opinion.

There's no evidence that the Indian strain is more deadly thus far.
